Happy 40th Anniversary, Scout Trooper!
HokieScout24 replied to BikerScout007's topic in Announcements
Well done on the logo design for 40th Anny. Being an East coaster, and with family/work plans filling up the schedule, doubt the meet up in Cali will work out for me. Great idea though, sounds like a blast! Pending approval for my ROTJ Scout and super thrilled to officially join the Pathfinders in the coming days. -
Looking for anti-fog solutions for the visor. Has anyone used an anti-fog film? Universal Helmet Shield Anti Fog Film,Clear Visor Lens Insert Fog Resistant 3.7" x 10.7" https://a.co/d/554V7ZD

Here are some shots from the first full attempt to try on the complete ensemble. Would love suggestions and areas that need attention. First glance, looks like the cumberbun needs to be higher, the shoulder armor pieces need to be higher and attached to the shoulder straps, and the bicep armor needs to be higher. Anything else stand out from what you can see?

Spray Paint color to match WTF white?!?
HokieScout24 replied to HokieScout24's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
I did a small color match test and came up with either the Behr Premium White or Rust-Oleum Painter's touch as best matches to this point. The Behr has a higher gloss that would be more of a match the high gloss of the armor. -
Spray Paint color to match WTF white?!?

Does anyone have any recommendations or suggestions on spray paint colors used to match the WTF armor in white? TIA -
This is a great guide for those using WTF Scout Kits. Currently in the middle of my build and glad I found this VERY useful information!

Best practice in attaching the tank to the back armor?!? Any suggestions? I’ve heard to river to tank piece, easy, but where do you rivet the bottom of the tank piece to the back armor? How do you attach the 1/2 elastic strip? Just making sure. Also…concerned I cut too much off and the spacing is tight on the tank topper and edge.

Have thought about at least another source for the helmet. We shall see how it goes. Everything else seems to be working out okay.

Thank you!! This is going to be a real treat…

Looking for best practice on the WTF helmet build and getting the 2 halves molded/joined. Any advice?
