Thanks. I will keep hope alive. I paid with pay pal and have sent him a Facebook message about once every 3-4 months. His last reply was November, though it looks like he viewed the message I sent in April but he didn't respond. I'm ok with a long wait, hopefully I'm not forgotten. Thank you all for the info. :)

Does anyone know if the TRamp builder is still active? We are going on 54 weeks since I ordered. He used to answer my messages every couple of months. But, he hasnt' had a post since November and isn't returning any message I have sent him.

Any idea of the STL files are posted at a new location? The thing verse link no longer works.

I have a question about the best way to transport the costume for trooping. I can fit everything except the torso armor and the helmet in a large pelican case and it all looks safe and secure. But, due to the size and more flimsy nature of the upper armor, I am worried about putting it in a pelican case as well. I was wondering what everyone else does to transport their kit? Is it about how you pack it, what is packed separately, or is there some other option that I'm not thinking of? -

I am having a hard time free handing the paint for white circle. Is there a trick to getting it perfectly round? What are the level 1 and level 2 thoughts for the top of my tank? -

Getting closer! I think I am on the last steps. My helmet is in another state and I will get it over christmas, the thermal det ends should arrive from RS in the next week or two, and I am almost done shaping/assembling my holster. When looking at my gear, does anything pop out to your trained eyes? (Over the holidays I will submit my application to my local garrison, and I will take cleaner photos in some good Texas sunlight) This has been so much fun to build and everyone has been extremely helpful as I put my stuff together! -

Greeblie Questions: 1) For the rectangular piece on the thermal det, do I need to cut out the top middle part so that the top is two individual rectangles? The CRL looks like yes, but I can't tell on some of the screen shots. I want to confirm before I slice it out. 2) For the round tank knob in the cutout, does the bottom half need to be white or can the whole knob be black? This one is harder to tell. I saw a few lancer approvals that look like it is all black, but the MOTM shots look like the bottom half of the knob is white. (I plan on sanding this down a bit anyways so that it sits more flush with the tank topper.) Neither is glued on yet, so both are easy changes to make. -

I plan on sewing my cod piece to the bottom of the vest and routing the strap up and hooking it to the back of the vest. I looked through the soft goods forums and found lots of possibilities but nothing conclusive as the best way. What is the best way to hook the strap to the back of the vest? (Buckle, velcro direct to the vest, sewing another strap to the vest and velcroing the straps together, some other option, etc.) -

If I go straight across there will be a bit of a gap between the tank and the back. I curved it to meet the contour of the upper section. Is it better to go straight across and have the gap? I don't think that I can slide it down any on the back armor. -

On a different note, the above images keep getting smaller because each response that I send has a smaller and smaller attachment limit. This one had a max of 92 kb. Is there something that I am missing on the best way to upload multiple images? Thanks. -

I am fitting the tank and need some advice. It is getting really close, but I am at the point that the more I adjust it the more is seems to knock other stuff out of alignment. Do I keep at it or is it at the correct level of fit that they usually get to? -

Thank you both! I will get to building and cross any obstacles as I get to them. -

For the vest, the one that I received from IB seems to have a slight shine to the sleeves. Is there a way to make that matte like the CRL? Or should I send it back for a different material?
