Looking back over the sites I was using, I would assume so? Disclaimer: I'm not an expert, nor do I pretend to be one on the internet. One site does refer to them as a "generous" boot, though, so you're probably on the right track.

Not sure if I should be posting on an old thread like this, but I figure if I'm new, and I dug through it looking for info, then someone else might, as well. I just received my boots from Ardmoor. I purchased the "Sand" in size "EU47 UK12" when I normally wear around a 12-13 in Doc Martens or Nike. The price was £61.25, shipping at £29.95, for a total of £91.20, or $119.39. Ordered on 4/9/2022 (yes, during the virtual armor party) and received in Indianapolis, IN today, 4/18/2022 through DHL. They are a LITTLE loose, but as I normally troop in thicker, wicking socks (FFS, the Resistance Pilot wears snow boots), they should be just fine. So there's some more up-to-date boot information, if y'all want it. Tony

Pathfinders Virtual Armor Party Q2 2022 (YouTube Video Posted)

I've had that show up on so many podcasts I recorded and edited, I didn't even think anything of it as it was happening. Don't sweat it. -

I have no doubt they're comfortable. My worry comes from sizing! *laughs* I think I got some good answers from you all on that, though, and I'm fairly confident they'll fit just fine. Mostly confident. At least 67% confident. -

This was a good way to spend a few hours, and a hundred bucks on boots. Thanks for hosting this! Tony -
E-22 Question for those who went 3D printed - Preferred files?
Double T replied to Double T's topic in Shoretrooper Weapons
Those are the ones on the Shoretrooper Shack website, right? I think I saw them, but I didn't look that closely at them. I'm going to have to do that! Thank you! I have no problems paying for files, but if there's a good free option out there, means that money can go into the fund for the soft parts. *laughs* -
Hey, everyone. Once again, just working on getting my ducks in a row, so I know where to throw money when I come across some (definitely not from a tax return, I just found out). A friend of mine is going to help me print the E-22 because his machines are better and more reliable than mine. We know about the Sean Fields E-22 files, but we have both picked up file packs in the past from 3dTechDesign over on CGTrader, and they do fantastic files. However, I was wondering if anyone had used theirs and if they were acceptable? It looks like they do have the spots for the red lights, but I'm still waffling back and forth. Here's the link if you're curious: https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/military/gun/shore-trooper-blaster-e-22-from-star-wars-rogue-one So what say you? Should I just go with the Fields files? Check out 3DTechDesign, or is there someone completely different I should be looking at, that I haven't found in my endless scrolling and searching here on the board? Thanks again for the info, y'all. I really appreciate it. Tony

Won't throw me off in the least bit. Just know I didn't prepare a speech or anything. -

No problem with popping in, quietly sitting in a corner, and observing, right? Soak stuff in, MAYBE ask a question or two, but otherwise just have the chance to "meet" some of you, since I won't be hitting any large cons anytime in the future, unless they bring Celebration back to Indy for some reason? *LOL* -
You are a gentleman and a scholar. Thank you very much!

All right, so TIL my left hand is a bit bigger than my right, not something I've noticed on any gloves before. Of course, you all were right. With that 9.5" measurement being right in the middle, sizing up to the XL was the correct choice. While the L might have fit, I could see the gloves getting very uncomfortable over the course of a troop, especially since you can't just take these off and tuck them into your belt like you can a Rebel Pilot costume. Threw a couple of pics up on Instagram and put them in a Google Photo album, because it helps me keep track of when I got certain things if I forget to write them down. *LOL* https://photos.app.goo.gl/iVkqQT6qEr4PRBYA8 Thanks again for all your help. Next up, saving for the boots, then comes the BIG spending with the armor/helmet and the rest of the soft parts. Then the fun begins!
-
Aye, I almost went with the boots, but the gloves were a bit more in my budget right now. I REALLY wish I had the boots when I was on a cruise last week, then I could have worn them out in the beach and surf and really start weathering them appropriately. *laughs* Gloves will be in next week, and I'll post a reply in here on how they fit, so if anyone else comes in with a similar question, hopefully, this will show up in their search.

Okay, cool. That's the path I was thinking about, anyway, so since I'm impatient, the XL has been ordered. *LOL*

Vacation is over, and I'm starting to get stuff around and saved to start on the Shoretrooper this summer. However, I have a bit of extra scratch now, so I'm going with something small and easy, the gloves. I'm going with Endor Finders, and using the measuring they suggest, I come up with about 9.5", which is right between L and XL. My first reaction is to just size up to the XL, but then I had second thoughts. I'm used to Rebel/Resistance Pilot gloves, which don't always necessarily fit like a, well, you know. With those, a little loose has been common, at least in my experience. However, aren't Trooper gloves supposed to be a bit tighter? So I go for the L? How much do they stretch? Am I overthinking this? What size do you recommend I throw in my cart? Thanks, everyone! Tony

There are very few reasons I miss Southern California. Events like these account for most of them. Sent from my Pixel 5a using Tapatalk
