You think 1/2" off each side. Or 1" off each side? -

Thanks. I'll trim the buttflap. Trim shoulder bridge and affix it in place. Then suit up again for final photos! -

Been 3 months with no updates? An input on helping me finalize my kit for Lancer approval? -

Ok it's been a while. I have some updates. These are not my final pictures. Just showing the updates and wanting info on the shoulder/chest positioning. Flightsuit- buttflap adjusted. Right side pocket removed and straps tightened. Gloves- clips removed. Will also remove the inner yellow tags for final. Cummerbund- fixed right over left and removed center stitching on velcro. Belt - back edges rounded. Buckles centers on webbing. Forearm/bicep armor position to be fixed on final fitting. Boots- holster was filled and reslotted. Pic in final fitting. Blaster - scope end capped and Inside viewer closed. Pics of chest/shoulder. I have them overlapped as suggested. Does this look right to cut and fix? -
Here is the finished. Unweathered DLT-19x. The natural weathering seen is from a few troops. Still gotta add the wire around the Tbits on barrel. Then it's complete.
-
Any suggestions for wire type and gauge?
-
It's been 90-95% complete for a while. Even carried it a few times. Finally gonna finish it up in next few weeks. Adding the T rails. Then gonna scuff it up a bit. I'll add pics of just the rifle once Ts are added.
-
Here is the silver lining. So I can rub off some black to show the under coat It's now sprayed black and is complete. More pics to follow. Still gotta weather it.
-
This is 2 coats of Rustoleum filler primer. And a few hours of hand sanding. Very happy with the texture. I skipped the liquid resin step. The filler primer smoothed most of the print lines great. I'm modifying thr plans slightly! (Dremel) to make the inner barrel pvc have threaded ends so it's detachable.
-
Here is the raw print.
-
Hmm. Can't seem to remember how to post my DropBox photos on here.
-
Did you use the E6000 for the entire build to attached the pieces together?
-
Got it all printed. Cost me 1 roll of PLA and some 501st merch!! Now to start the "hard" or "fun" part of filling and sanding. Will post pics along the way
-
I assume it has to be solid black? Was wondering about a wood look stock as the original MG34.
-
Finally starting the process. Didnt want to pay an arm and a leg for my rifle. Got a friend to print at cost. So the 3d print begins. Will follow ArandunFF's build thread for the how to.

Thanks for the feedback. Most looks to be some subtle and relatively easy fixes ( flight suit, belt, biceps, and forearms ), Not sure how my cummerbund got flipped. I guess after I got approved I did add velcro for better position of boxes. I guess if flipped when i sewed them on. Not too hard a fix though. A few questions: Gloves - do the clips need to be removed or the little leather tag that holds the clips as well. Blaster - so the scope needs to be appear "filled" and not hollow like a real scope with a flat front end even with the edges of scope? Holster - the slits are too big? So need to be filled and recut smaller. Shoulders - I believe i need to cut off 1/2" from each side of bridge. I will get to this last after the other adjustments are made. SO will post pics of taped up for review prior to making any snips. -
