Black Series Helmet - NOT APPROVABLE
Whistler replied to Donovan's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout Armor/Helmet
Sorry I should have been more specific. I mean like RS props, and the other series of scout helmets. -

Please! And are there any threads for all the other helmets in the TB series? -

Can you post what the issues are? I’m also at Celebration and need to know what’s to be “done” to the helmet? -

It is. I looked at that place initially but decided to rough it in the wilderness 😂. Site can fit up to 15 so anyone can tag along if they’d like. -

I’ve got one of the campsites so I’ll be there. -
I tried to register on the goggle doc but registration seems to be closed. Is there still a chance I could somehow get on it?
-
I got slot 14 by the River. I’ll be bringing one car, so if someone needs to stage a car to get people out there they can. Still looks like half of the 30 sites available are still available.

I just reserved a campsite at Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park. Currently it costs about 77 dollars to get a campsite for the weekend of the meetup: the site is located by the Van Duzen River and is tent only locations. May seem a little rough but for the more adventurous types this may be a way to save on costs. Sites can hold up to 15 people and two cars. For more information go here for reservations: https://www.reservecalifornia.com/Web/ hope this helps.

I’m still down, so we know how many camping sites are available around the area?
-
Let me know if you guys need any help. I can usually get a truck to haul stuff. Been doing it for a long time.
-
Thanks @BikerScout007, is anyone going to bring their 74 bike builds at all?
-
Same here for Central California. Maybe if GGG doesn’t have enough slots we can still plan to get enough scouts together?
-
Thanks @Hask just making sure I’m not missing something 👌🏻
-
I‘m there for all four days. As far as allowing bags or boxes. Do they have a place where people in costume can change or dress down at Excel? Or am I riding the tube as a scout?

Ultimate Helmet Comparison Thread!

How close are the other black series lids to accuracy? Artillery TK, FOTK? -
I would also be interested. I have a jacket but as hot as this outfit gets it would be good to have another.

My bad @kindabusy 😂. @BikerScout007 I was going to say Cheatham Grove just because that’s where the majority of the speeder bike scenes were filmed. I just know that almost all those towns have light amenities around here which makes getting a hotel around there difficult but I’m sure there’s a way to get it done. I’m trying to find the site I saw the gps locations of some of the iconic scenes like 👇🏻

Thanks @MatuteX77! Yeah after armory shop props went down patrol trooper parts are at a premium. I have the baton i just literally forgot to put it on. I did put the forearms on wrong which is what my GML in Central California Garrison identified. Does anybody have a good source for a helmet? Besides being off-white it’s also missing a couple other things

I can’t believe I didn’t go to the trees of mystery 😂. I was literally in front of that Paul Bunyan statue and didn’t go the rest of the way. Where was this a year ago @BigJasoni 😂. I found most of the GPS coordinates for the speeder bike scenes on a couple of websites. I started doing Star Wars filming sites ever since I was in the military. Started with the Rogue One set in the Maldives in 2014. It’s a really cool little tourist thing to do. Are they gonna open Skywalker ranch back up? Or did they?

I appreciate Hask. That’s two things you’ve helped me with.

I went to the filming areas you can get to for my birthday trip last year. It’s i think like a 2 hour trip outside of San Fran. (I live in Reno) all the speeder bike chase sites and Princess Leia’s meet up with wicket and the two scout troopers are still there. But the entire battle of Endor where they placed the Shield Bunker is gone. It’s an awesome sight though. Just don’t get your drone stuck in one of the trees like I did.

Afternoon pathfinders, I started my Patrol trooper build nearly 3 years ago, and finally managed to get all the requisite parts together only to crash and burn on my first try at approval haha. I would like to know if the weathering on the armor I have is too much. In the pictures you’ll see the helmet is off, one of the greeblies on the back shin armor is broken which I’ve fixed since. Just need tips on where to get a completed helmet and how to chill this weathering if it’s too much. Thank you all for your advice and help in advance.

I’ll be attending this year, but I’ve never shipped my armor overseas before or carried it on a plane. Does anyone have any tips? Or know the best ways to get through customs, and pack everything so it doesn’t get destroyed?
