  2. The ribbed material is ribbed rubber floor matting / grooved anti slip matting https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402300779926?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=JXXRYntqTvu&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=sDN08318Qna&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY A guide on how to construct the pouches can be found here https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/topic/20477-ruthars-patrol-trooper-build/page/2/#comment-187463 It's been a few years since making mine but I think I used 2 of the medium sized pouches as the smaller one was to small IMHO . I used the belt material on the back of the pouches, cut to size and super glued back on to the belt, using the ridges as a way of having a large contact area and also making the pouches sit flush and close to the belt,it's held up for 3 years and I've had no problems. 3. Oops sorry about that,I've got a bit confused, obviously :/ Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
  4. Perhaps it's worth contacting him on his personal Facebook page?? His name is Marc Connor,he has recently posted to the troopercoola page!I noticed he is now shipping fans ( supposedly ) . To be honest it's easy enough to make your own and for half the price,if anyone wants advice on how to DIY your own, just message me and I'll send you the links to the items on AliExpress, although I'm sure you could buy all the relevant parts on Amazon for a little more money. 5. Sorry to hear this, but it's completely understandable to be honest, it's hard work in costume, there's been many times I've been pouring with sweat wondering why I do it to myself I wish you all the best for your comfortable future Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
  6. I've just checked on his Facebook page,it seems like he has stopped answering people's emails a long time ago and lots of people are still waiting for their orders..make of that what you will. Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
  7. https://forum.501stpathfinders.com/topic/25668-brooklyn-7-mary-4%E2%80%99s-jacket-wip/ For the ribbing you can use piping cord sewn into place It should be easy enough to find in haberdashery or online , unfortunately I can't remember what width was suitable, sorry. 8. I'm no expert but it does make me wonder, why they say it's normal for the stitching to bleed colour into the leather,do they sew them with everything damp or something??I've never bought anything where the stitches have effected the colour of the fabric!
  9. Correct , I did have to go through a few different faux leather materials, until I found one that was both durable and flexible,it's hard to judge from pictures sometimes. Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
  10. https://ukfabricsonline.com/mock-eyelet-sports-fabric I used this material in black ,you will have to find somewhere in your country that sells it ,but it's not a hard to find fabric.
  11. Posting here instead of on your WIP, sorry about that 😬 For reference this is my jacket that I had made and the bottom half is made of breathable mesh material and has wicking material inside.
  12. Hello [emoji16] No ,it's not normal for them to have any kind of coloured tinge to the gloves,I'd contact endor finders,if it was me. The jacket is the thing that causes the most problems,if I were you, I'd start making plans on who will be making it as a lot of people have found it hard to find a seamstress to make one, either way it will take some time to source the correct materials and get everything organised. Everyone on here will help as much as they can , they are a good bunch [emoji6] Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
  13. Also there's a few Facebook patrol trooper pages https://facebook.com/groups/167298230641202/ https://facebook.com/groups/patroltrooperfam/ It's probably worth posting there too, although they aren't very busy 😕
  14. It might be worth posting on Walt's Facebook page, in the hopes that people who have purchased the costume could give you a idea?
  15. A word of advice! I've seen many cases of rustoleum paint reacting with other rustoleum paints,so check that they play nice with each other before laying them down on your helmet! It's going to take a good few layers of paint, just remember to apply thin coats and build them up.. patience is key Sent from my 21091116UC using Tapatalk
