Welcome! I can't imagine too many of the scout parts need to be modified. Maybe chest and back if you are larger/smaller than the initial files fit. So.. what size are you? Maybe some other folks who have printed parts can determine any possible changes.

I think I used your design and modded it a slight bit. -
WIP wannabe Lancer by OnkelPaschulke

Here's what I did. Hopefully this will help. I used a strip of scrap ABS with velcro, hook on one side and loop on the other. I put velcro under the shoulder section of the chest and back armor and used the strip to join the two pieces I sewed a cabletie onto the elastic loop that covers the armor join at the shoulder. I use a piece of velcro to keep the elastic loop in place. I used the cabletie anchor with velcro, inside the shoulder (cut the corners to fit the compound curve better) and then used just the cabletie lock end to hold the shoulder on. Note: I used 1.5" elastic for the loop, so not level 2, but it's modular so I can swap in lvl 2 loops later. -
Where are these files that you speak of? Mr Poopie? Are they available?

I'm liking 3 better.

Now you have me thinking about starting to print out the Shoretrooper parts as well!

Looking good! I think the boots look ok. Maybe put some thick interfacing behind the vinyl if you feel they sag too much.

So now that I'm 501st approved for level 1, what do I need to do to qualify for pathfinder status? Thanks! -
[woobiee] 1st and New build! (Lancer probably)

Not a fan of the hard hat liner. I have one in my tk and it just never feels right. I put tactical pads in my tb and added light eva to space everything out. -

Bicep armor kept sliding down.. Only real issue with the kit at this point. -
Anybody have pics on your solutions to fix this? Thanks!

I agree with Mike. You've done a ton of work to get where you are. Just get your stuff tweaked for basic approval and deal with Lancer later. I personally think that you should already be approved for lvl 1, based on my kit and the pics I've seen of other approvals. Unfortunately, it's not my decision. I started out with the same thought process, did a bunch of stuff to go Lancer, found all kinds of stuff that would not pass lvl 2, and just decided to revisit it later. I'd much rather troop with lvl 1 for a while and have fun. I still want to go for lvl 2 at some point, but I'll deal with that later. I have way too many other projects to deal with as well.

I used the included vinyl stickers from SC to put on my tank. Didn't have any issues.

Thank you for the props! I'll bring in the pouches a bit and untwist the strap on the box. Argh! those darn straps! I can't tell you how many times I've started taking pics and had to redo them for some miner adjustment! Or the armor isn't positioned right, or something is off angle.. jeez.. -

Here are the latest pics, which I have send off to my garrison for approval. The cummerbund won't pass Lancer level, but I have the soft goods from IB to make the lancer level components. Just trying to get ready for an upcoming troop. -

Almost done! First fitting pics. Not too bad overall. I need to bring the back up a bit more. The belt boxes could be a little higher. Wondering if I need to trim the shoulder bells and biceps a bit to leave a little more gap. or just move the bells closer to the shoulder straps. Going to do a bit more work on the shoulder/bell mounting points to keep them in place better. -

Getting close to being done. Coverall is being done by a friend who is a sewing professional. Just finished up the boots. Tomorrow will be armor fitting and adjustment. should be good to go. -

I'm going to have to water bath the chest shoulder straps. They curve in way too much and pull the chest up. Hope I don't ruin it. -
Looks like a really large OD pop rivet. Are you using a washer and pop rivet to get a bigger diameter, or will a regular 1/8" pop rivet suffice?
