I didn't see I got an answer from him yesterday (Etsy didn't send any notification to me). He said his shop was deactivated for some time, but he's still working on the orders as normal.
-
If you're asking me, I contacted him directly via Etsy. I still see the conversation, but when I click on his profile, it says user doesn't exist. I'm a bit worried as I also have a pending order with him.... Should I escalate the case to Etsy?
-
That is strange, I checked on jh3175's profile who's the one I was in contact with, Etsy also says the user doesn't exist... @TreeHuggerMatt did you contact them recently?
-
Yes he told me he had issues with Etsy policy striking down his product pages. I finally ordered mine via Etsy private custom product page. I'm waiting for it now.
-
Ok, he's making a version "Ready for troop" which would be painted + weathered I guess. Just waiting for his final confirmation, in English I hope, as I don't understand German very well 😁
-
Ok, I thought it was maybe longer than the scope from the CRL picture:

Hello @Aradun and @TreeHuggerMatt and all 😁 So, I contacted Dbay94, and he still offers the DLT-19x even though it's not in the listing anymore for whatever Etsy policy reason... Here are some pictures he shared (stored on Etsy, I hope it shows well in this post): Unfortunately, he doesn't have close pictures of the scope itself, so is there someone who owns a DLT19x from Dbay94 who can share close pictures of the scope and confirm if it's accurate? For the rest of the weapon, he confirmed it's based on MG-34, 1.20m long. Thank you!

Thank you @Aradun for your follow up. I will think about what to do next...
-
I also came across this one: https://www.etsy.com/fr/listing/1066454680/ Also PETG. Would you say the overall quality / details are better or equivalent than yours? I don't know anything about painting and weathering, would you say it's achievable for a beginner? Do you know tutorials? Thank you.

@Aradun Thank you very much. I will see with them if they can print these two parts. So the disk does not need to have a little hole in the middle like in your picture? Also would you agree if they place the handle here: I will see with them what they can propose so it's as solid as possible. Is there anything else to add/change other than these two parts? Thank you.
-
@Aradun thanks for your answer. Is the port cover also correct? Could you share close pictures of the shape of the disk, and charging handle? Also, do you have or know a place where I could get the accurate 3D models of these two parts? I found something like this https://www.rona.ca/en/product/reliable-fasteners-flat-ring-washer-1-in-dia-zinc-plated-4-per-pack-wwz1mr-13998062 But you said it needs to be convex on the outside?
-
Yes sorry, I've seen how it works, but I couldn't put a name on it ahah So you mean the charging handle must be aligned to the disk on the other side, like if it was one unique part?
-
Hi all and @Chopper @Aradun @Jakeputt Here are some pictures, tell me if you need other ones: So far, what I found is: - The cylinder on the right side is missing - The disk on the left side is missing - The little notches on T tracks are present but no wire, this I can add myself. - Is it relevant to say some screw heads are missing? Compared to @Chopper pictures, and near the grip - The weapon measures 1m20 approximately. Thank you
-
@Aradun https://www.facebook.com/Cillytek3dprinting I will upload pictures as soon as I receive them.
-
Thank you @Chopper Actually, it's a 3d print from a seller, I don't have the 3d model nor 3d printer. I want to make sure everything's ok as I've been disappointed in the past. Seller is ok to add required details. I have a video which I can share to you via pm, but I will ask for close up pictures for you. Thank you
-
Hello, I would like to know some precisions about the CRL guidelines of the DLT-19x, to verify a 3d print. Can someone give a visual/picture about the T-tracks on the barrel, the ejection port cover, the small disk, and tell me if the prop scope must be seen through? Thank you for your help!

Félicitations / Congratulations @BikerScout007

Hello! Thoughts about my costume for approval?
Aurel replied to Aurel's topic in ROTJ Biker Scout HQ
Merci beaucoup, thank you all for your comments! I agree, I will add some. I understand, I will remove the two extra bars of the tank. But I don't understand the "If tank has extra trapezoid detail", was this detail mandatory for the first approval? About this level 2, I was wondering if I would need to make the whole same validation process? Would it be reviewed by my local GML or by you? Not planning it for now, I was just wondering Thank you in advance. Thank you -

Hello everyone! It has been quite a long time since my first posts, a lot of things happened on my side and I couldn't move forward, but everything's better now According to your advice, I made some adjustments and wanted to share these with you. I reduced the size of the codpiece. Unfortunately, the cummerbund is too small, so I have to deal with it for now. I'm planning to either extend its height or make a new one, so the belt can be pulled down. To prevent the cummerbund from dropping, I added some velcro on the inside. I also added a small detail on the backtank that my local GML asked me. The lighting should be clearer this time There may still be some details to adjust. Please let me know The validation process has been... really tough, but ultimately I just got approved (a relief should I say ) I'm glad to be part of this great family! -

Thank you all for your advices 😄 These photos are all I have at the moment, and I don't have my costume right now. But tell me anyway if you'd like some more. (On some photos, my right forearm is under the glove, it's a mistake and the left upper arm is not really up, sorry, those were the first photos I took, not perfect) Indeed, the cod piece is too large, but you mean in both width and height? I can adjust the width so it's more like the CRL photo, but concerning its height and the belt, as the cummerbund and the cod piece are in two parts, there is a separation hidden by the belt, so I cannot lower it too much. And lowering the cummerbund will make the black suit visible under the chest. But I'll do my best to apply your advices. Please tell me if some other adjustements need to be made. Thanks! -
Hello everyone 😄 I just signed up on this forum. I'm Aurel and I come from France. I would like to know your general thoughts about my armor/weapon. I apologize for the luminosity which is not perfect especially for the details about the black parts. I have other pictures without the weapon and left/right side armor. Just tell me if you'd like to see these. The armor should meet the CRL requirements, but there may be some details I have not taken into account. Feel free to give your opinion 😄
