  1. First of all, thank you so much for your invaluable contribution to the community. I really appreciate it! I just checked your reference image link and found this ; -seam; it seems to not exist. (Pun intended 🤣) -rectangle protrusion above the tank; It actually is there. I will have to take my words back on that one. Guess I don’t have to worry about cutting up the armor. Yay!
  2. Thank you for the kind words 😁 I will definitely dig deeper into getting the references correctly as I want this to be my fist 501st approved costume. From what I seen so far (game assets, concept arts, my own gameplay, clips of gameplay on YT), I haven’t seen a gap or tank attachment method like ROTJ scout. I think this might be due to them wanting to “idealized” the armor or they just decided it’s easier to make the model like this. But just to be sure, I will have to recheck all the references I have. By the way, I was too excited to post this build and posted it in the wrong section. Terribly sorry for such rookie mistake. 😔
  3. Hi! Awesome Krennic here from Thailand. I lurked here for a while and saw your impressive builds that put me on the path of building one myself. This is going to be a really slow build but I assure you that I will post the progress until I finish this project! Side note : This build might frustrate some of the ROTJ scouts due to me altering and trying to idealized a few armor parts to match what I seen in game (and to make it what I imagined scout would look like in a modern Star Wars media too) My plan 1. Armor and helmet : @ChrisThePropGuy’s kit. I bought like 2 years ago and just have time to build it 😂 2. JFO accessories : will buy @MrPoopie’s file once I finished assembling the armor 3. Gloves : crowboots endorfinders or keeptrooping. Not really sure which one to buy yet. I might have to check the shipping cost before buying. But that would probably be the last part of the build 4. Boots : Local shoemaker 5. Soft parts : Local seamstress I already trimmed most of the parts already and will post pics this weekend. But first, I want to show you the back part. In game image shows that the tank was molded into the back plate without having any gap so I went with that route instead of a traditional ROTJ scout fashion. I use ABS slurry to weld the tank to the back plate and fill the gaps. I might have to wait like a week for that to dry completely, then bondo and sand it later. To actually make it true to game model, I have to cut the upper rectangle the protrudes from the top of the tank and make it flush. I *might* do that later when I am brave enough to cut a big chunk of my armor Sorry if I offended ROTJ scouts here. I just want this to be an accurate representation of what I saw in game. I don’t think that having no seam on the back plate should prevent me from passing the criteria since it was not mentioned in the CRL nor does it contradict what I saw in game.
