  1. I assumed the snout was painted all gray with black around the edges. Knowing that I should layer with black as the base and gray on top makes much more sense. I had been using Rust-Olium flat gray primer. Would Testors model paint work better? What about the black paint - is that gloss or flat? I'm a little lost here, trying to figure out the best kind of paint to use and how best to apply it.
  2. So I started to paint my snout and aerator using a flat, gray spray paint. As you can clearly see in the image below, as soon as the paint started to dry, it began to crack! First off, how do I remove this paint from the ABS and secondly, what kind of paint do you recommend to use? Can this be saved???
