  1. @Jakeputt Hey! I refinished the blaster and added some weathering let me know what you think. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/15_hlLB2rq-wCh6vpYijAgiaOlZzwhYGu
  2. Looking at dyes for my kit, I found the Rit Dyemore chocolate brown. However for the synthetic dyes (required for the poly cotton blend, they don't have black, instead they have a graphite grey color. Wondering if that will work/ potentially any other alternatives? Thanks!
  3. Sounds great, I'll plan on trying to put the UV resin on top of the paint in the areas that need attention, sanding, and then painting over again. Hopefully that works. And yeah I've seen his videos, that's actually who I purchased the files from. Helpful tips, thanks!
  4. Thanks for taking a look. Yeah I've been using the orange Bondo by itself and then sanding it. I just thought I could get away with the filler primer in that area, turns out not haha! What's the purpose for mixing bondo with acetone? Also with that UV resin stuff could I just put that over the top of it to fill in the lines or am I going to need to sand it down? Thanks.
  5. The photo should be available at that link I attached, here's it again. https://photos.app.goo.gl/LBWRwncUUsq1QP8K7
  6. Hey all, I'm starting a Kashyyyk trooper build and have the DC15S mostly done. I've used some filler primer and painted over that, however you can still see some of the 3d print lines on the side of the chamber. I know it's up to the GML to approve the final thing but I'd appreciate some insight on what others have approved. It looks like there's some lines visible on the CRL reference photo as well. Thanks. Photos here
  7. @Jakeputt Thanks for the response. Is there any other resource for files that work with the crl? I didn't see any in the vendor list. Or would it be better to play around with the files myself?
  8. Hi everyone! I've been looking into building the kashyyyk trooper costume. As my patrol trooper is a bit uncomfortable for longer events. From what I've seen the kashyyyk trooper has a lot more soft parts. I want to 3d print everything, I found a seller of the files and wondering if someone could tell me if they are crl compliant or not. Thanks! https://galacticarmory.net/collections/armor-3d-files/products/kashyyyk-clone-trooper-armor-3d-print-files
  9. Thank you! Much appreciated.
  10. Hello everyone I am looking to print off an Ec-17 that is true to the CRL to go with my patrol trooper. I believe this file would work, but before I use up the filament could someone let me know if it checks out? Thanks! -TK66003 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4083056
  11. Okay thank you. Easy fix I'll just pull the assembly up and reattach it to the velcro.
  12. Hello again! I am having to use the damaged chest plate from my previous post due to not receiving a replacement. I did a paint job to cover it up here are pictures of the old and new. I also have included pictures of the boots assembly and weathering I did. Feedback is much appreciated as always! Thank you. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1vgZMB46iWq9nOu65tAH_EGakZUxy0inC
  13. Hello everyone I have decided to weather my armor before assembling. This was my first time trying this out and I used a unusable chest plate with the crack to the left in it. Armoury shop is sending me a new chest plate because it got damaged in shipping. So ignoring that flaw would this be good for the CRL? Thank you guys! https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=1c1-i0o_0rfpmKZRo_9OghMYH2rzucCu2
  14. Does anyone know if these would work? https://bikeapparels.com/products/fammz-mb-3-mens-man-horse-riding-police-patrol-tall-boots-with-back-zipper-equestrian?variant=36820171597
  15. I don't believe this is for the undersuit, because he gives you a separate chart for the under suit. I believe the number 6 measurement is just from right above your elbow to your wrist. At least that's what I did.
  16. Thank you for your help!
  17. https://photos.app.goo.gl/pzdRiwPDFowgUaWE6 Hey guys! I am excited to announce I am on my way to becoming a Patrol Trooper, hopefully joining the cloud city garrison next year. I purchased a Patrol Trooper armour set, undersuit from Armory Shop in Russia. (Everything but the boots and gloves.) I received a sizing chart for the undersuit and the armour. I had a few questions about some of the measurements, I emailed their team four days ago and still have yet to get a response. So I was wondering if someone here could help me out? For number 12 on the Armor sizing chart, is the curved measurement horizontal from the front to the back of the neck? Or is it a vertical curve measured along the collar bone to the back of the neck/shoulder area? For the undersuit, how would I go about measuring 13 and 13.1? Would I hold my arm straight, do a measurement and then do a measurement with my arm curved? The link at the top is the sizing chart, I couldn't post two pictures because of the file size limit. Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this 😬 Thanks everyone!
