Hey guys, I'm having a Basic approval CRL doubt about the straps that connect the back and the chest. Chest Armor The sides of the chest armor attach to the back armor with white webbing. OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable): Side under arm chest/back straps are made from 40mm (1.5") white cotton webbing. Optional: 40mm (1.5 inch) white elastic material is acceptable provided the color matches. My reading of this is that we need to basic approve the armor with webbing straps but have the option to use elastic straps at the Lancer submission? Shouldn't it be the opposite? Webbing/elastic for Basic and just webbing for Lancer?

I feel it's a good shape. Though it's not riveted yet and has only tape at the top.

The guys at RWA Creations also updated me on the armor build. Trimming is not yet finished. That was some days ago, so it should be more assembled by now.

Updates so far. The flighsuit is back from the seamstress with the thigh straps tighten. I've already tried it on and it's as expected. I should take a pic just for this WIP. I've had notice that Chef's has finished my boots. Here is an image of his last batch. Mine are in the middle.

About the vest sleeves, thinking on Lancer submission. Does the quilted lines need to have 1 inch or it could be 1 1/4''? As to say 2,50cm or 3cm?

Hey all, My build has seen some updates. The armor and helmet was already pulled and are in the assemblage process by RWA. The undersuit got from the seamstress and I have a couple of doubts about some Lancer specs. About the front thigh straps, are these OK or seem a little loose? About the back thigh straps are these OK or loose and is the butt flap ok or it should be half an inch lower?

I've just test fitted and I saw it was a narrow one. Some trooping minutes and the squared patch could be seen under the cod... I've rounded it up already cut the leather and pinned it for the seamstresses. I've left some allowance for the seams and some adjustments too. I'll also ask her to take in 4 cm (near 2 inches ) in each legs for a best fit. Does the elastic on the sides need to be sewn under the patch or it could be just really close?

Thank you! You got a point on the rounding the top part of the patches. I already have my cod piece and the cummerbund so I could try if it fits right but it will be easier to do as you suggest. About the positioning, the patch is already just below the lower snap button.

About the leather patches, are this marks ok? The small horizontal lines are 1 inch above my rotula.
