  1. I was able to take a few screenshots from a YouTube showcase video. I tried to get the best angles with what I was working with. A friend of mine who owns the game will also attempt to get some screenshots for me, but here’s what I got: Here’s an angle showing off the detail on top of the radio pack. It’s a lighter gray color and it also appears there may be a green and red button. The pouches are a darkish medium grey color similar to the officer: And then a few more angles. The straps that go around the shin armor appear to be a lighter color but that could be deceiving as the armor surrounding it is a dark green color. Color theory be damned!
  2. Something else I noticed about the Officer looking at the reference material, it appears that the two larger front pouches might actually be a dark green color similar to the dark green markings on the rest of the armor. It’s hard to tell due to the darkness of the reference, but it does appear that these two pouches are very clearly a different color than the rest of them. This could be why I was having trouble determining if the Heavy had darker pouches or not.
  3. Going down the list, here is what I assume is the same as the officer: - Balaclava - Undersuit - Shoulder Armor - Elbow / Forearm Armor - Gloves - Cummerbund - Pouches - Belt - Codpiece - Knee Armor - Boots These are the areas that appear different: - Helmet Helmet is painted the same as a generic grunt but the section above the visor is painted a solid green color. - Upper Arm Armor The dark green stripe goes straight down the side following the same line as the green stripe on the shoulder bells. The officer has this stripe go to a curve. - Chest Armor The chest is painted a solid green color. No camo. - Back Armor The back is painted a solid green color. No camo. - Lower Leg Armor These are painted a solid green color. No camo. - Boot Caps These are also painted a solid green color. Another thing I want to mention, it appears that the cod piece is a fabric material more so than an armor piece. This appears to be the case on all the trooper types. I’m not sure if it’s worth mentioning in the current CRLs that it could either be armor or a fabric.
  4. I agree, the waiting room is way too dark to know for sure. Gameplay will certainly be the best option, or if someone could provide screencaps. I don’t own the game personally so someone would either need to help supply the images or I’d have to borrow my brother’s copy of the game. Can you link me to the new thread once it’s posted? Should I post responses to this thread there going forward?
  5. That would be wonderful! Any help would be greatly appreciated I suppose the first place to start with this one would be to point out the key differences between the Heavy and the Officer to determine what areas need attention vs areas that can be copied from the officer CRL? The only area I’m having difficulty distinguishing (at least from these photos) is the pouches themselves. I can’t tell if they’re supposed to be darker than the officer or if they’re the same shade. Based on a YouTube “showcase” they appear to be a grey color similar to the officer.
  6. I’m still pretty new to this forum so forgive me if this has already been asked or if someone is already working on it… But is someone currently working on a CRL for the 41st Heavy Trooper? I saw there was one for the Officer and it appears at a side by side glance that these two trooper variants are essentially the exact same with a few minor paint differences: The heavy appears to have solid dark green chest and back armor, solid green boots and shin armor, and a solid green visor shade. Otherwise the rest of it seems pretty standard without any special parts that would differ it from the grunt / officer. I think it would be cool to try and make this variant along with a rocket launcher / z6 rotary canon. I’ve done a CRL for the CTD last year so I know it requires pre-approval before it can officially be started so I wanted to create this thread to inquire about it. Heavy: Officer: Grunt:
