  1. Hello folks, I'm starting to paint my helmet using Rustoleum Hi Performance Enamel Gloss white and Satin black. Can I leave the inside of the helmet as-is or do I need to paint it what color? I don't like the odor of spray paint inside of any helmet of mines while trooping and with the paint chips coming off and onto my balaclava or hair in this case. How many coats of spray paints are needed? I'm going to top this all off using gloss coating to protect it once all done. Thanks,
  2. I've tried contacting Sheev's for an update with my jacket. All I'm getting is an automatic generic greeting saying that he'll get back to me. He hasn't answered any of my FB messages nor has provided me with an update on what stage my jacket is at. The last communications I had with him was on April 2, 2024 stating that the target date for the completion of pending orders was on 04/20/2024. Well, its almost 4 months since then and still nothing!! Has anyone else had any luck with him?
  3. I just put a deposit on mine's and he's working on the final design after submitting my measurement to him.
  4. YES!!! I've been in contact with Sheev's and he's designed a new jacket for us! Just going over with him on a few details before he finalizes the design.
  5. Ok folks. I've been in contact with Sheev's Emporium and looks like he wants to move forward with making a few jackets for us. 🙂 Some questions......The CRL shows zippers on the ends of the sleeves. Does the screen used ones have a zipper enclosure and if it does, are they completely hidden? Sheev's mentions that the sleeves doesn't leave any room for a zipper on the screen used version. If anyone has the jacket from Armory shop Props, can you please let me if it has zippers or not and if so, are the zippers visible or are they hidden? For the picture attached in green circle, if one wanted to be accurate to the photo/screen, then there's no zipper. It's fitted for the wearer. Is this correct for Level 2 or not?
  6. I checked the CRL and it doesn't state the sizes of the leather pouches. But for level 2, it says "Belt Boxes and pouches conform to size and shape of screen references". Does anyone know what those measures are? So perhaps those two Etsy pouches would be sufficient for the 2 larger pouches? I just need to find a smaller pouch for the single one. As for the ribbed belt, can I use the version from "belts of the first order" or Trooper Bay? Trooper Bay's version is only 2.75" though. https://www.facebook.com/BeltsoftheFirstOrder/photos https://www.trooperbay.com/products/the-force-awakens-first-order-stormtrooper-belt?pr_prod_strat=use_description&pr_rec_id=5ce42eeee&pr_rec_pid=7466439770262&pr_ref_pid=7466434592918&pr_seq=uniform
  7. A few questions with the helmet and the leather pouches........ I started cutting out sections of the helmet with my Dremel tool. For the teeth, how far down should I go as I am following the grooves for each? There's supposed to be 4 teeth on both sides. Is the section in red circle the gap that I need to cut out? Am I supposed to completely drill out all 12 vent ports or are these grooves deep enough as is? I found these pouches on Etsy measuring 4.75" x 2.25" x 1". Are these acceptable for 2 out of 3 pouches? What is the size of the smaller pouch?
  8. Looking back at the 1st set of helmet pics, they do look kind of narrow and a bit off. Maybe it's the camera angle or lighting that I took them with, but I took a few more and the helmet looks more full now. So looks like I'm missing the following pieces: -Baton, Baton holster, Blaster gun holster, Toe cap, Heel guard, Dog bone, black rubber helmet brow, lens piece.
  9. Hi Kris, I've asked Walt what is included in the kit and asked for pictures of them. I only received 1 pic but it only showed some pieces in his workshop. He did provide me a pic of the completed armor. Comparing his kit to the CRL and with Armory Shop Props, I can see a few pieces that are missing.
  10. Hello Folks, I received my WTF patrol trooper set after waiting for awhile but at least it was finally delivered! Looking forward to my new build as this is just the armor pieces that I have for now. The set is a mixture of ABS for the armor pieces and resin for the helmet greebies and chest/back pieces. The two black and white straps seem to be made out of a rubber material. Can someone please advise me if I have all the pieces that I need or if there are any missing? So far, I do see a few pieces missing that didn't come in the box. If anyone else has a WTF kit, did yours come with the same pieces like mines? Thanks.
  11. I chatted with Sheev's Emporium about making the jacket as he had made jackets and undersuits for other types of armor and with the gasket set for my FOTK armor. We went over samples of the pattern and material of the jacket and this is something he might be able to do. So if I can get an idea of who else would be interested with this, perhaps he can give us all good price if he can make several of them.
  12. I'm in the early planning stages but I am interested.
  13. I've been trying to get pics of his set of armor and helmet several times but to no avail. So until I see them, I'm going to hold off on using this vendor.
  14. Hello team, What is your take on 3D printed armor versus ABS? I never had a 3D one made and don't really know too much about them or the process of how they are made. How durable is 3D material as compared to ABS especially with trooping in one? For those of you who paint your armor from scratch, do you spray paint them yourself using local paints from Home Depot, etc. or do you take them to an automobile paint shop to get them all done? Thanks.
