ROTJ Scout Trooper 2022 CRL Update - the Open Collar!
DJMoore replied to BikerScout007's topic in Announcements
I have a couple of questions I am grandfathered in under the old CRL with the @$%& Madeiran collar, I have lost a lot of weight since being approved in 2019. Been thinking of getting a new flight suit but really didn't want to deal with that collar or getting measured all over again. 1) Can I change just the flight suit & get the other things and be good to go? Or Will I need to be re-approved with everything? 2) If I don't have to be re-approved, how do the suits in the links fit? I get they are tailored for men, but being a short, curvy woman I am trying to figure out size. Yes I know I can return them but I am also lazy and forget to return things. Thanks for the updated, I will make sure my fellow GML know about the changes too. DJ TB/ID 82919 -
TB-82919 Requesting Lancer (WITHDRAWN)
DJMoore replied to DJMoore's topic in Lancer Deployment Request
It is with a heavy heart that I have to pull my application for Lancer. While I understand and apricate the attention to detail there are some fixes I can not do without replacing parts. And finding just the parts is hard for me. In order to meet the Lancer approval I would have to remake the boots and find someone who sales just the holster piece, been trying to find JUST the tank because this is the 2nd tank for this costume. The first one broke when we removed the rivet and I am afraid that will happen this time too. Add in finding new knee plates that I just can't find without ordering all new armour. Which I can not afford to do at this time. When I retire this one, cause I know one day it will be retired things wear out and will need to be replaced. I will build the next one to Lancer spec and also find a maker that will make just bits and bobs in case I mess up. Thank you for your time in going over my kit. And all the feed back. I wish you all the best of luck. DJ -

Just wanted to say I have not forgotten this thread. Due to some health issues I had to step away from up grading everything. Hope to get back at it soon and decided weather I am going to continue forward on the path to Lancer or pull my application. Thanks DJ TB-82919 -

Hi All, So I am working on my Biker Scout build. I am hoping to go for Lancer so I am trying to build to those specs. Thanks to these forums my Husband and I have been able to answer many questions. Yet I have come to 2 questions I have not been able to find answer for. Attached is a picture of the tank topper greeble for reference. Question A: Does the rivet need to line up with the long fine? Specs says it's to be center of the Greeble but that would make is slightly off center on mine. And to line up with the long fin would mean I need to remove one of the shorter fins leaving 7. Question B: The white circle located on the bigger circle, can it be painted or does it need to be drilled out to show the tank through the hole? Thanks for the help, DJ
