  1. Thanks. Gonna dry brush for sure to avoid paint absorption. Should be getting to that tomorrow or Wednesday.
  2. The stress is starting to kick in when trying to remain consistent. Happy with the color mix when comparing to the screen caps. Keep asking myself “more? Less??”
  3. Don't give up Christina. Take a step back and come back fresh. you've got this. I'm sure i'm one of many whom you've helped a ton during this process. Can't wait to see it finished.
  4. Reset my eyes and went darker when I came back to it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Starting the weathering process. Hoping I can have this wrapped up in the next few days. Will just need to make sure it follows the CRL Any feedback you can provide on weathering would be greatly appreciated. I’ve been using Christina’s technique. I simply adjusted the color recipe.
  6. Thanks. I've been following her thread. She's been a huge help so far. Definitely spearheaded the Mando Scout build for a lot of us. Can't wait to dirty it up. Excited and nervous at the same time. Yes. My wife makes crafts. It's a stick holder. I'm actually from Montreal. Let's see how far they go after knocking out the Pens on Saturday!
  7. ok well here it is. My first full suit up of my Scout Trooper - Mandalorian version. (Based off the Jason Sudeikis look). Hoping for some thoughts on where it's at before i start the weathering. Let me have it! [emoji6] Missing/Left to do - Weathering - Red line and white circle on tank - Chin Cup (simple didn't put it on) - Bag (just waiting on belt to finish assembly)
  8. thanks for leading the charge with this. It's been extremely helpful.
  9. Quick WIP pic. Still have a lot to go. Strapping and weathering. I’ve also taken apart the bund to change the pouches. Much left to do.
  10. Thanks. I’ll give it a bit more of a tweak to see if I can get it closer. Then I’ll live with it. Appreciate the feedback
  11. Making myself crazy with this thing. Is this good enough?
  12. I just did the strapping on my WTF kit and I have to say that the space indented for them fit the 25mm perfectly. Had I needed to use anything wider i would've had to cut outside of the predetermined area. Not sure for the SC kit though.
  13. Just to show how the clip is threaded in the back update: Actually... there seems to be a lot of inconsistencies with the scouts. Here's another shot. I'm assuming the way you choose to wear them will be optional. I don't think there's one Scout in the show which looks the same. You can also clearly see no strap on the tank.
  14. this is incredible work Christina. Thanks so much for sharing
  15. Very helpful. Thanks for this. Is there a specific order you use for dry brushing the colors?
  16. Need your feedback on earholes. Keep In mind I still need to clean it up but are the holes a good size?
  17. It does even look like there is white strapping on top of where the front an back connect.
  18. I saw it posted as a reply on redit. But you’re saying 25mm was used for all black strapping? Biceps forearms and knees?
  19. awesome thanks. If i read correctly it's only 18mm and 25mm which was used in Mando correct?
  20. anyone know what kind of elastics those are called?
  21. they do. They just don't have that brand. But i found a company in BC that did and ordered 3 tubes just to be safe. I always prefer using the exact brands others have used as it is proven to work. Thanks for the info
  22. ok. i actually managed to recently find some devcon in canada. Wasn't easy. I thought the idea of the tape was interesting in case of mistakes. Is there a reason you wouldn't recommend using it?
  23. Hey Guys. Would it be possible to know what the proper 3m bolts are that are referred to above? I wasn't sure about the 3M tape also. I was going to use the E6000 and magnets to keep it in place until it dries. Is that the way to go? Thanks Eric
