  1. Hey Gustavo. I believe we met at Montreal Comic Con. The links you were given are the best way to get started but feel free to send me a direct message if you need more help.
  2. I don’t have a rivet at the bottom of my tank. It lays pretty close but that took a LOT of adjustment to get it just right. The cummerbund needed some adjustment. I got the one from Steph’s imperial outfitters. She did the ones for the show. She confirmed that how they appear is not how she sent them. So they made adjustments on their end. In my case I have them Velcro’d and the flap that they usually hang from are flipped behind.
  3. you're welcome. feel free to reach out if you have any more questions
  4. so the weathering is re-done. Even had my first official troop as a scout. Going to take new pics shortly and post a helmet comparison as promised. Updated recipe in original post with EFX
  5. congrats. Great job on the weathering. As mentioned above, the WTF is longer so it helps for the look you see in the show. Especially in the front. Oh and I can relate with the gut lol. When i first decided to make this armor i went on a strict diet/training diet to lose weight (40 lbs actually). It's obviously not a requirement and no on here would judge but star wars was enough motivation for me to get back in shape so i ran with it. I had to get my bund re-adjusted 2 times which was a pain because you can't just cut off one of the ends or it won't be centered. So keep that in mind if you go down that route. Personally i think you look awesome brother. Contrats again.
  6. Going to re-weather the armor to make sure everything matches with the new bucket. Going to use Christina’s new recipe as well which I tested on another piece. Below is a pic of one of the forearms with half of the old weathering removed. Nice to see the white again…
  7. Forgot to mention. Lens is dark but you can see my eyes. Driving me crazy. Any suggestions on fixing that? Someone was talking about a spray that could help.
  8. So I bit they bullet (hard) and got me an EFX bucket for my Mando Scout. The only thing at this point which won’t be screen accurate is the brand of boot I used (boot kit is accurate). The weight is definitely much more than my current Kropserkel and I’m going to have to be more careful with it. But it’s a sacrifice I’m willing to make. Dude I bought it from thought I was crazy when I told him I was going to weather it lol. Nonetheless I will be weathering and posting updated pics with new bucket once I’m done. For anyone interested I can post comparison pics with the KS version. Just let me know.
  9. Looks amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. They're velcro'd on actually. I have a strip sewn in the back of each pouch and one on the bund. I followed Christina's recommendations. It's pretty straight forward but if you want me to provide photos as well I'm more than happy to do so.
  11. Had I not just gotten mine I’d be all over it
  12. Not sure how that works to be honest. I sent my request for approval so that’s out of my hands.
  13. Feel free to reach out anytime Cory. I'll be happy to help.
  14. Thanks everyone who helped me along the way. Especially @TKZombie. Her weathering technique really gave me a great base. Her attention to detail, numerous conversations and generosity allowed me to finish my armor. Glad i could contribute to the group.
  15. updated my recipe in the original post in case anyone was interested.
  16. thanks bro. Totally right. I should've done that. I had my "Child" in there but took him out just for the pic. Didn't realize how the bag would've looked It was a last minute shot i did after taking my front and back. Ideally (when the time comes) I'll have him in there for the kids while trooping.
  17. Redid the test shot. Better lighting and color is much more accurate to real life.
  18. First test shot with completed armor. Lighting is horrific. Drowning out some of the weathering. I’ll take better shots tomorrow in the daylight. Thought I’d share anyway.
  19. Started off fun but felt like a loooong process. Helmet is done also. Now to let it all dry and re-assemble.
  20. Starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
