Hey all! making my first set of armor and I see every likes to use the hobarts face shield for their lens material https://www.amazon.com/Hobart-770580-Shield-Replacement-Shaded/dp/B002VECKRO However amazon no longer carry's this/they dont know when they will have it again. I was wondering if any one has used anything else they can recommend? Was thinking acrylic or plexiglass to heat up and then form around the helmet but dont wanna get the wrong stuff.. Seems like i've gotten so far only to get tripped up by something so small! Thanks again!

Hey all! First of all thanks for allowing me into this incredible community. This is my first of what I assume will be many posts as time goes on, I was just wondering if there were any differences in armor/hard parts between the Shoretrooper grunt and the captain other than just some painting differences. on the CRL's the photos look a liittllee different but i'm not sure if thats just because theyre different makes or if there actually is any structural differences between the two? Thanks!!
