  1. Just wanted to show off how happy I am with my new Crowprops gloves. They made some really nice non leather gloves for me at a reasonable price. From start to finish nothing but great reviews from me. Can’t wait to get some trooping in with them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  3. So I wanted to post something for those who are considering buying an Alt scout helmet in the future. If this is not allowed or in the wrong place please let me know. First off I’ve got no complaints at all just wanted to document the awesome process and product. I spoke with Spike who had one ready to go. I shot over the money via PayPal and he shipped it that day. I was presently surprised when it arrived from Australia to my house in Pennsylvania USA within eight days. I can’t even get packages within the US in that decent of time. The whole process was great and Spike was awesome with answering questions. First off it arrived very well packed and I feel it was well taken care of to ensure no issues would arise. I unwrapped the helmet and it was in mint condition. The chin strap had some marks on it but I was planning on weathering it all anyway. The whole thing is very well put together, and sturdy, the white was bright and well cured. The interior is all black and perfectly painted as well. I even liked the addition of supports along the inside. Decals, lenses, and snout all looked well placed. I tried it on and after adding some padding it fits very well. It’s big enough I can fit my head in there without opening the front. With the front closed it easily allows me to wear my glasses. And after some weathering, I think it came out more appropriate for my armor. I weathered with acrylic paint and there were no issues with the base white paint at all. Again this is for document purposes so if in the future someone considers buying an Alt helmet the can search this out and see that this product is legit and well worth the money. Update 11/19/2022 So I recently found a crack in the helmet along the rivit. The crack looked like it was old and had been painted over when the inside was coated. I reached out and we went back and forth and I was told to take the faceplate off, drill a hole at the end and that’ll stop it from cracking more, fill it with bondo and it’ll be good. When I took the faceplate off the crack already had a hole drilled at the end. I reached out again only to find out the helmet cracked while being put together, and the maker was going to fix it but forgot about it. Let me go on record here and say I am in no way trying to cancel anyone, I still like the construction, look, and feel of helmet and I do feel the crack will probably not hinder the use of the helmet. My issue is I spent $380 on a helmet that was cracked and I was never given an option to wait for construction of a new one that was not cracked. I expressed my feelings and received nothing close to an apology and was basically left with “So I detailed how to fill it, wont impact its strenght if you leave it, wont be seen once face is fitted on cheers” I’m not sure how things are done around the world but to me in the US this is a bad business practice. I’ve bought things before that were B-grade and represented as B-grade. I messaged about a helmet that was made and ready to wear, at no time was I told there was a crack in the helmet, or given an opportunity to wait for a new helmet. I wrestled with adding this because I didn’t want to come off as bashing but in the end when I originally posted this thread I wanted it to be an honest review for everyone and I feel this continues that review. Although I’m out another $20 for bondo, and feel slightly ripped off I would still recommend the helmet. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I recently decommissioned my Bridge Crew and have a new flight suit with cogs on the shoulders. Is there anyone out there that can turn this Bridge Crew flight suit into a ROTJ Scout flight suit complete with butt flap, thigh patches and straps? Figured since I have it and there aren’t many messages when I tried selling, I’d try and turn it into a second flight suit for my scout. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Still available? Any pics or price? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Crowprops is able to do it, I appreciate the help. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks, took a look at it and it’s way out of my realm of talent. I’d be happy to purchase a pair from him or anyone that could get this done without real leather or suede.
  8. Hello all, was wondering if someone can point me in the direction where I can obtain some non-leather (vegan leather) gloves for my Scout? Appreciate the help. Mission accomplished, Crowprops is able to do this in faux leather. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Why change what works so well. Thanks for continuing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  12. I wear mine all the time and everyone I troop with does as well. It’s part of the outfit not an add on. So if I need it to get approved it gets worn every time. Just my thoughts. The armor does look really good though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. This is great, sadly I’m essential and will be working or else I’d be in on this. Can’t wait to see the pics though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
