That's how I saw the baton holster but to me the snaps were non functioning. However it's appearance that counts. Nice work.

There are no rules to say the inside must be painted. As for the amount of coats its dependent on how it looks with each one but dont do it too thick.

They dont connect to the front. Like Justin says the rear is held on with velcro.
