Thanks for the tips everyone. I am actually going to rebuild my cummerbund set. I am going to make it a bit bigger length and height wise. The set I ordered from Steph was okay but the pouch Velcro was too close to the ribs and the measurements I gave her must not have been too accurate. Oh well. She still does great work. I am doing more test fitting on my scout. Trimmed my chest and back to make it more form fitting and I need to lower my belt boxes. Are my pouches too big? I got them from a vendor and they are 7” tall. Should I remake them my self to 6” spec? By the way adding Velcro to keep the chest from slipping inside the cummerbund is really helpful. Actually I haven’t really tailor the top yet. I did take in the back by folding in even bits of fabric. I’ll IM you later. The sleeves can be done the same way. Just make sure to sew to the original seam in the pit or you will look like ralphie’s little brother from chistmas story. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Picked up a husky bin from homedepot and slowly pimping it out. I also and 95% done with my DLT-19x. Trying to match my weathering to the EA battlefront II in game model. I’d hit it with some filler primer if you can get it. If you don’t want to clog up any sandpaper with spray paint I’d use the glazing putty and a flashlight to highlight low spots while your filling them in. So things have been very busy and I never got around to full documenting my build. I got the base coat of black and the red and silver ring painted on my DLT-19x. I will be looking to weather and as some dynamic weathering on the barrel. Heat damage possible and metal run and buff on areas of the barrel. Stay tuned. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am trying to find hardware for the DLT-19x This strap was used on the MG-34 rifle it’s modeled after. Does anyone know what kind of clips these are? I don’t want to buy a real WWII guns trap. I can make my son if someone knows what kind of hardware this is. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just got my XTC 3D In. Gonna get a coat on these small bits and try to start with the barrel and work my way to the buttstock. I taped up the small bits so I can brush them on easy and not have any chemical look up or drip Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yesterday I received my DLT-19X sniper kit from Tom @ TDK props. Beautiful kit, quick print and a great opportunity to build a rifle kit start to finish. I will be assembling this kit mostly with E6000 adhesive and cleaning up these print lines with Smooth-on XTC 3D. And on top of this I will paint it with mostly Black spray paint and a top coat of graphite powder and Clear coat to seal in the black metal finish. I am debating on eventually adding a flashing light to the barrel for a blaster effect. Down the line maybe Here is the kit that came in the mail. I temporarily dry assembled these parts just to figure out how to assemble these many pieces. Not too complex but very detailed and accurate build. I will clamp a few pieces together with E6000 over the next day or two while my other chemicals come in the mail. Mail should be in Wednesday. I also ordered a scope lense too.
