  1. I'll check it out now. Thanks bro.
  2. I hope this is the right section of the forum. Anyways, I'mwant to redo the calf portion of the Biker Scout boot and am having trouble making it fit over the boot properly. Any good way of determining the shape I need to cut out of the front to make it fit perfectly? I've got the toe cap beautiful but just struggling with the other part.
  3. I was hoping to avoid that but route but it seems like I've no choice. I've heard of people saying to open the leg seam and sew it on like that. Well, better get some red bull and put on a pot of coffee. Thank you Stroker.
  4. Hello all, I've been having a hard time sewing the riding patch onto the flight suit with my sewing machine. What is the best way of sewing it on without making it look like a dumpster fire afterwards?
  5. I'll do that, thanks Stroker!
  6. I'm having some issues trying to upload the pic, saying the pic was too large. But I must add that it's the lens, and not the visor, that I'm having trouble with. I did speak with SC, from where I got the helmet, and they will be sending me a replacement tab because the part that bends is becoming weak and I'm afraid will break if I mess with it anymore. SC told me to slide the lens over the metal post of the rivet and that's when the bendy piece started to look as if it was going to break. Sorry to be a bother to everyone but I appreciate the responses.
  7. Here is a pic. Also, I called the lens the visor by accident. It's the lens I'm having trouble with.
  8. The little rivet inside my biker scout helmet detached from the inside and now my visor is detached. How do I fix this problem? It's an SC helmet and I had them put it together when I bought it so I have no idea what to do and I don't want to mess it up trying to fix it without know the intricacies of it.
  9. I'm 5'5" myself and the SC kit fits really well, I barely had to do any trimming at all. And as a few have mentioned, TB is the way to go with the majority of the costume being fabrics. But I feel your pain bro but then again, if you think about it, TB's were used to scout and recon people and positions so being smile is of a great benefit to get in and out without being seen lol!
