  1. Hey Retro and Aradun, I have completed my repairs and returned the holster to the boot. Check these out: https://imgur.com/6lz2oZT Thanks, again for all of your assistance. I really appreciate it all. Patrick
  2. Hey Retro and Aradun, thank you for the tips and guidance. I will work on it this week. Will post photos once completed. Thanks, again, Patrick
  3. Found some on Amazon, of course. What thickness would you recommend, .5 mm, 1.0 mm, etc.?
  4. Thanks for the advice and guidance Chopper. I appreciate it as always. Do you know where I can pick up a sheet of styrene inexpensively?
  5. Hey Chopper, Pics as requested at the link below. Just a note, I identified the crack when removing the rivets to add a boot blouser to the inside of the boot like your notes in one of the forums. The cracks were there before I removed the rivet. I added a rivet washer to the inside of the holster, between the holster and the boot, plus what you see inside the boot as well. https://imgur.com/a/onuUr9k Your thoughts?
  6. Hey Chopper, good evening. I noted your concerns about the high stresses on the plastic of the holster around the rivets. Do you have any repair suggestions if cracks have developed? Seems they occurred around the upper rivet where it attaches near the velcro closure. Thanks, Patrick
  7. Thank you also Dennis. Too excited and typing too fast.
  8. Thank you for all of your assistance. I really appreciate it. My dream is now a reality thanks to dedicated folks such as yourself.
  9. Good afternoon. I am very pleased to announce I have been accepted as a member of the 501st Legion. TB-94003 Reporting for Duty. Thank you all for your guidance and assistance through this process, you made it a really enjoyable experience. I look forward to trooping with those in the Florida Garrison and hopefully our paths may cross in other areas. Chopper, Retro, Jake I can't thank you enough for your construction tips. They were gold. Talk to you folks soon when I eventually go for Lancer. Patrick.
  10. Hey Chopper, Thank you for clarifying the stripes and the overall progress on the build. At this point, my goal is Level 1, but will definitely keep the tip in mind when (if) I attempt Level 2. I will work on the velcro for the belt. I will put it all on and take my pics for submission. Keeping my fingers crossed. I really thank you all for the assistance and guidance. Hope to see you on the other side as an "official" brother. Patrick
  11. Good Evening. It's been awhile since my last update and I have been hard at work on the Pouches, Belt, Detonator, and stiffening the cod. I think I am closing in on being ready (these parts at least). I humbly ask for your opinions on the current results: https://imgur.com/a/bY2sOIo As always, your guidance and critiques are appreciated.
  12. Thank you Woobie and Chopper. I appreciate the pics and measurements. Based on the description, it seems as if the TD is really used to cover/hide the majority of the soft strap on the belt. I’ll use that as a guide.
  13. I have received all parts for the thermal detonator, but I am thinking the hose is too short, compared to pics of approved items. How long should the tubes extend out the side for the housing. The one I have is just about 2”. The pics look to be about 4” on each side. Can any provide guidance?
  14. Hey Chopper, thank you for the feedback. Another step closer.
