A little update since im going away for a few days, i have been sanding away on shoulder, biceps and forearm A little service on my Wanhao Duplicator I3 Plus, nozzle change and PTFE-tub. Filler Primer sprayed on, 2 coats and some sanding between. Some body filler and more sanding. New coat of filler primer. and sanding some more. i want the parts to shine like a mirror before i'm done with the filling and sanding. A overview picture of my hobby room. Chest and back is printed, next week i will start with the assembly of the chest when i'm back from vacation.

No problem, always glad if i can help out in anyway. If you want to see your avatar behind the part. Edit the colour on the part and change Alpha channel to 100, it makes the part translucent. And that works really well on helmets so you can see how much room you have in it.

Im using armorsmith as well, have an avatar for me and for my daughter its alot easier to scale then. Only thing so far for me that needed scaling was the front and back. Thats why i asked MrPoopie to add an uncut chest piece. There is an facebook support group for armorsmith (link here), where the developer is active. For my Shoretrooper i didnt bother to scale the armor, instead i started to scale my body and lost 31 kilos 😃. I needed a break from all the training, but its time aigen to put some time down in the gym and long walks after work.

The bigger parts are printing at 0,22 layer height, i have started with the chest today on one printer and the other is making the thermal detonator. Both printers can make the bigger parts but the cr-10s gives it a little more quality it feels like. Need to go shopping tomorrow for some filler primer and bondo, and have a weekend of some sanding 😃

I have 2 printers, and i print from i get home from work and over night. And 24/7 on weekends. The files are easy to print as well, you have done a great job.

Updated greeblie for the bicep.

Ill print the updated ones tomorrow, thanks for the great and fast work.

I know the feeling about time, and i have just started to look around for the soft parts. I'm wet sanding half the face on the helmet, will take some pictures this weekend when i apply some filler primer. So i can see if its worth the time to wet sand with fine grit instead of just sanding with lower grit before filler primer.
-
What its a competition?, i think MrPoopie is stirring things up. 😃 I have a few builds at the same time, so it will take some time. Printing will be done this week, but then it's the fun part with sanding. I have recently started to just go straight for wet sanding the PLA after a print with 400 grit, and you can get it really smooth directly.

I'm checking your build as well, it goes out fast, will be done tomorrow with back and forearms.

Greetings from the forest in Sweden. Since i'm having a break from the Shoretrooper i decided to use my printers for another project, and decided on making the Biker Scout. I don't have anything 501st approved yet, but it will be this or the Shoretrooper. I will most likely pick your brains about the soft parts. I was planning on making the armor in fusion 360 as a learning process, but then i found MrPoopie's armor (link here) So i'm going to print MrPoopie's armor instead, the helmet file is from Al3dPropShop (link here). The Printer Setup is: Wanhao Duplicator i3 Plus - Will be used for the smaller parts. Creality CR-10s - Will be used to print as big as i can. I will be using PrimaValue PLA Filament, and coat the inside with XTC-3D for more durability. //Andreas

Will start my build as well within a week. Printing the last parts now.

Was thinking also about buying the combo from imperialboots, did you order from them? //Selle
