Damn, That looks REALLY good. Yeah there are some minor that are off, but over all, it looks damn good. All you need now is an army of Wookiees.

Nice work, Lonescout! I hope I can catch up to you soon. I had a small problem with Bondo inexperience.

DragonCon 2008!!!!! Anyone going? Anyone going with a BARC? (I'm working hard to be there in BARC)
-
Anyone offering an updated insignia? Maybe I will just have to hand paint it...
-
Looking good... Keep up the good work.

Nice work Michael! Keep up the good work. Can't wait to see more pictures!

I'm going this year and my goal is to have a completed BARC costume to wear. That is a lofty goal of mine, but its what I'm shooting for. I FULLY expect that it is not going to be a perfect match, but I'm really hoping for some "this looks good" / "That part looks wrong" feedback. We gotta get a starting point. We discussed this briefly a while back in this thread. At the time, I think the answer was no moving parts. But, I seem to remember seeing a BARC action figure that had the flip-up faceplate. Who knows...

I think I have found a decent base vest. Please take a look at this and give some feedback. --> VEST <-- It looks like it might work. Just add some 1" vertical elastic straps and you got yourself a BARC vest.

Any suggestions for what to use if you can't find any Citadel - light green Ink per the helmet tutorial? I'm curious if anyone has any suggestions about how to make up an ink wash.

I had heard CB as well... It'd get my vote for now.

Mike, I received my armor today... IT LOOKS AMAZING!!!! Thank you soooo much for all your hard work. I've discovered that I am going to have to do a couple small mod's on the chest and back plates. Apparently, I am alittle larger than your model was. I don't think it'll be a problem to develop a shim for the sides. BTW, this was my Birthday gift to myself this past year. BEST GIFT I GOT!!!! I love it! Thanks Mike... DaVe

What happened to all the reference pictures of the BARC midsection that used to be associated with this post? Does anyone know?
-
Find that camera yet..... Also, what color and brand of dye did you use?

Anyone know if they are planning on doing a 12" BARC Trooper Figure anytime soon?
