  1. The similarity is quite striking, indeed! Good luck for your build!
  2. I kind of misunderstood the term action photo (full body pose with white background), so I'll just leave my first version here. 😄
  3. Dear fellow treehuggers, it's been a long time but I may finally announce my approval as a Biker Scout. I'm really excited and will try out the build next month on a Star Wars Reads Day event. Thanks a lot to all the people of this forum who actively commented on the build progress or passively contributed hugely through their excellent WIPs, tutorials and pictures! 💘 And Chef for the parts!
  4. Thanks, man! In the meantime I found this excellent piece: I'm going to take your tips and the above tutorial into consideration, then I guess it should be fine. Kind regards! Falk
  5. Hi all, Could someone please take a look at the pictures and check if the positioning/ dimensions would be OK? Thanks a lot!
  6. Ok, I definitely need help on this one. Would those riding patches be OK in size? And when I’m wearing the overall the mud flap seems OK, when flat it seems kinda small. Opinions? Thank you guys.
  7. Thanks, that shouldn’t be a problem!
  8. Just trying to check if the shoulder bells and zip ties are on an OK position because I’d like to add a little glue to the zip ties so they can’t close any further. Please note the front has slipped upwards again because I just threw this on without closing to see about the shoulders.
  9. With two small kids time is precious. Anyways, I was able to do the belt. Quite satisfied, the belt boxes are hanging 2 inches below the belt.
  10. I took some time off the build mainly because of my second child’s birth, but here’s a little update with the thermal detonator. I also managed to work on soft parts and strapping, hopefully I can post some news in the next days.
  11. Trying on front and back. I guess the back should go up a little?
  12. Did some dying, three bags of black tea in a huge bowl for 5 minutes. The straps turned out a little darker than supposed, but I guess it will be okay. I’m only dying them because I got the pouches in that tone from Boris TD-10761 together with a flak vest and I want to use them as a small gesture in his memory.
  13. I swear I looked through all docs and WIP’s and I didn’t think of the CRLs this time, although they are on top in the folder... 😅 Thanks, Chopper!
  14. That’s what I did, it worked out well. The Kit is from Chef.
