What are the best currently-available options for DLT-19 or 19X? Several places I’ve looked into are not offering (or in business). Lots of 3D printed options (on Etsy namely which i think would be a crapshoot). Also iffy about a 3D print how much cleanup there will be without seeing in person. Any vendor recommendations welcome! (Also interested in used.)

Attention: New Lancer Approved! TB-12110

Congrats Lancer! -
I got almost my entire kit from Chef’s....nothing negative to say except you might be waiting for a while for the kit. He had pretty good communication when I worked with him and offered help when I had questions, but I have no comparison to other armorers. Just got approved Lancer with fairly minimal mods to the armor I received...just gotta have that attention to detail! Good luck with your build!

- Cod Piece: This was bunched because the elastic strap was pulled too tight between my legs. I slightly lengthened the elastic strap such that the cod piece sits more naturally which removed the bunching. (See updated front picture.) - Belt Boxes: Pulled in extra strapping to raise boxes to 1” below belt level. (See measurement picture and updated side picture) - Left side forearm/bicep overlap: Moved forearm armor to prevent overlap (See updated side picture) - Chest low: I shaved a bit (1/8”) off the bottom of the chest armor, which it needed anyway to further clean it up and smooth it out. I also slightly adjusted the joint between the chest and back armor. (See updated front picture) - Strap Measurements: See updated measurements of shoulder (1/2”), bicep (2”) , forearm (1”), and knees (1/2” and 1”) with the ruler now in front - Easy fix! Thanks review team for the feedback! These should be pretty straightforward fixes or pic retakes so I’ll get on it. -

Okay - thanks again for the great feedback. I updated my photos: https://we.tl/s-QkZZVQDiOj

Also, where should the belt ride? As it it in my pics, it’s around my waist, like a normal belt line. Should it be higher like around the naval?
-
Great advice! I definitely see what you are saying. Luckily, should be easy fixes. Cod piece is velcroed to the bund so I have plenty of adjustability there. So I know there’s not supposed to be a gap between the belt and the cumberbund but should the belt go over the the bund or just under it?

Well I’ve done a really poor job at updating my WIP and took me longer than expected but I submitted my app pics yesterday. I think I have everything up to Lancer spec except the tube on the thermal det. Still doing some troop ready mods adding Velcro and magnets to keep things in place anf. eventually plan to weather when I find the time. https://we.tl/s-QkZZVQDiOj

Making progress on my armor - so far i have all the armor trimmed and smooth, arm and knee armor strapped, back/tank mostly built...just picking away at it little by little when i have time, BUT, I am having a rough go with the helmet. Below are some images, if anyone has any advice on where to go or what might be wrong..please let me know! 1. I assume a decent place to start is aligning the shrouds to the facemask is with the line shown here: - If i simply do this to both sides, and clamp it to surface labeld 1, the shrouds angle inward way too much - If i straighten out the shrouds, such that its straight in the front it puts a lot of stress on the facemask, but i assume enough glue will take care of it 2. If i align the hinge and outside body lines, the lower jaw portion of the facemask is significantly lower than the base of the helmet. Since that is dictacted by that line shown in #1 and the top of the facemask, I'm not sure how that can come up properly. This is my biggest concern at this point. 3. Here are a few more pics to see whats going on. Unrelated to alignment - for the slots in the rear of the helmet, seems like the pull was not entirely clean, so will i just need to rebuild the final slot with bondo?
-
Yeah thanks for the pic! I hadn’t started on the sewing yet. Been out of town for work and had family in town but getting back to it all this wknd.

Nothing fancy, just logging my progress. Just got my shipment from Chef’s. Started trimming last night (although it was 95% done already)...excited to start making some real progress.... Would you (or anyone else) say then to go a size above going by their size chart? I noticed that their size chart was different than other gloves I've bought. So after reading several of these posts I'm debating going a size up from their chart. Palm measured at 9", which is the high end of the Large size. So I'm thinking I should go XL??

If I recall that's how I pulled the trigger on my armor as well
