  1. Excellent! So, it's sounding like Imperial Surplus will be my best bet for the armor? I could potentially 3D print other parts as well, so if there were other suggestions I'd be willing to consider them. I'm hearing that the Nico Helmet is the most accurate? I'm assuming the DesertFareCosplay one is the correct Nico file? Also, would you suggest starting with the hard or soft parts first?
  2. Hey! I'm looking at doing a R1 version. While I do like the up-armored versions, I've been told that the tassets on the hips do interfere with movement and sitting, so I thought I'd go for mobility.
  3. Hello! My name is Mark TB-21427 from Garrison Titan, and I've decided to go ahead with a Squad Leader build. As I already have a TB costume to troop with, my hope is to start from the ground up with this costume and to try to work towards a vanguard qualitification. I'd greatly appreciate any advice! To start, I'm looking at ordering the Imperial Surplus's ST SL 2.0 kits as the the base armor and helmet. Would there be any thoughts on this choice, or alternative suggestions?
  4. Thank you again for the support! I used ABS scraps to make cirular reinforcements for each rivet section, and they attached very well. I also threw in some Neodymium magnets for the holster and that seemed to work very well!
  5. Thank you so much! I'll work on replacing it with those upgrades.
  6. Recently, my boot holster has started to crack around the 4 metal connectors and become detached from the boot. Would there be any reccomendations where I could get that single part to replace it, and what I could do in the future to prevent it from cracking?
  7. I'm currently working on a DLT-19X I purchased off of the forums here, and I was wondering if there was an official regulation regarding slings? I'm curious if there's a guideline as to material, appearance, construction, etc? I didn't see anything specific on the CRL.
  8. Side Front with belt Rear with belt The butt flap comes down to the bottom of my cheeks.
  9. Front Back Another back Mud flap lifted Try that?
  10. Ok, so I definitely need to shorten the thigh patches by about an inch to an inch in the half. What's the final verdict on the flap? I'm taking it that I need to make it a bit longer?
  11. Here's a picture wearing it. Front Back Flap lifted Thoughts?
  12. This is my first trooper build, and I've been trying to follow the guidelines as well as the input of my local chapter regarding the patching on the scout. Here's what I have so far. How does this look regarding placement? Front of crotch Back of Crotch Flap Up Flap Down Hoping to get some feedback before I commit to the sewing.
