Perfect, don't know how I missed that. Is the toe strip on the crowprops boots an issue since it doesn't lay flat due to the shape of the sole?

Deciding which boots to go with. Both soles aren't 100% accurate, for the extra $60, are the keeptrooping boots more accurate for lancer status?

So I just received my Redkapp suit, I know the chest and rear pocket need to be removed. What is the recommended thing to do with the two hand pockets on each side and the two smaller tool pockets on the right leg?

Hey everyone, I received my Altmann's helmet from Spike last summer. Since then, I haven't done much with my helmet. Until recently, when I ordered Kevins accurate hardware set so I could get the correct bolts. Unfortunately the new bolts just aren't long enough to replace the original ones that came with the helmet. That's not a huge deal to me however because I was intending to replace them with elevator bolts after talking with Peter aka Retrofire who gave me a lot of helpful suggestions. I've been to multiple local hardware stores and have found bolts of all lengths and sizes, but it appears no one carries bolts that have a bolt head diameter of 22mm to match the originals. At this point, I was thinking I may as well just cut the heads off the bolts from Kevin and glue them to machine screws? That is unless anyone knows where I can purchase the accurate sized elevator bolts either online or locally? Appreciate any suggestions!

SC Helmets from what I know are good quality, just run on the smaller size. I'm building my costume atm as well, and was planning on going with Kropserkel myself. I've since however decided to possibly go with an Altmann's instead. Most accurate IMO of the three mentioned, and comes ready to wear minus the liner.
