Testing fitting to see what adjustments need to be made. I will bondo the gap where the shim connects the back plate at the sides. Has any one got some pics of how they attached the ammo pouch to the abb section?

Thanks Stefan. I agree that the detail on the 850 armorworks kits is not as sharp as some. Is it necessary to replace the abb greeblies for 501st approval? With the medium boxes I have added an angled greeblie to the top of the boxes. Is there a close up picture that you have to better illustrate what you mean? Your help is appreciated. Ken

Hi guys, Hello from Perth in Western Australia. I started this build a few month ago and I'm slowly getting to the finish line. I'll post a few pic's of my progress and please feel free to give any advice or suggestions. The kit is from 850 Armorworks, helmet from Jimmy and the soft parts are from Imperial Boots. I just started painting the armor and used liquid latex to give the paint the chipped/weathered look. I still need to go over the painted pieces with an acrylic paint/water wash to give it the dirty look.

Looks great. Why did you not use Jimmi's shin armor? Is it not 501st approvable?
