  1. Sweet. Do have a link for where to contact DVH? Would like to order one
  2. I don't quite understand this post to be honest hehe. Are you planing on using the fabric from those pants for your riding patches? The riding patch must be Suede (Suede is a leather type with napped finish). But it looks like the pattern is a bit wide. I would probably try to cut it a few inches in, so it matches your reference picture Keep up the good work buddy
  3. I too would like to know where to get a hold of a Smitty's
  4. You should definitely get in touch with your local garrison. Remember, the members there have already been through the same journey that you are about to take. So they have all the information you need to join up
  5. Hi bro, I'm not a pro, and just got approved myself. But I want to be an active member of this forum and help out as much as I possibly can. So I will try to answer the best that I can ( and if I screw up, the Armoury Team will come along shortly and straighten things/me up haha) 1. Don't really know what elongated means, but If it is what I think it is, you mean that the cod is slightly tighten/doesn't go all the way down? Anyhow, I would try to position the bund just bellow the chestplate and see if that does the trick. If I remember correctly - I've seen some reference pictures where the bund is actually just bellow the chestplate. Maybe that will compensate with the length of the codpiece. 2. Mine was sewen on the inside of the Cod so no stitches are visible. And the other end of the elastic is fasten with velcro on the inside backside of the cummerbund. 3. Yes! Biker Scouts are known for the amount of velcro we use Well, if you don't have to use it, then don't. But if you feel the need for using velcro on the inside of the bund and on the flak vest to keep it in place - then by all means, do it Hope this was helpful
  6. Thanks bro I really wanna do my weathering over again, so gonna try to get the old one off en follow the procedure you went for here
  7. Nice work bro Do you have a tutorial for this? And If my suit is already wethered. How would you proceed to get it all wihite again to start over?
  8. I'll join in on this thread. I have the blaster from TrooperBay, and I think it's amazing Does this blaster meet the Lancer requirements?
  9. Looks really good bro How long did it take from your order of the Strider Armour, till it arrived? Are they really pricy?
  10. Damn!! You look good bro
  11. The only thing I always think of when I see that reference picture is that it looks like the Biker has neck seal? Any input on this?
  12. Congratz bro I wanna see pictures of your armor Is it out on BSN somewhere?
  13. Yeah! Pandatrooper's build a absolutly amazing
  14. Iknow this is an old thread. BUT... I like you build and would love to see the final result! Got pics?
  15. Looks as close to perfect you can get on an SC Helmet to me. Did you get the lenses from SC as well? I did the mistake to not heat up and bend the lense first. Try to find something that has the similar oval shape as the inside of your visor. Try to heat it up with a heating gun or the oven, and shape it in to fit better instead of forcing the bend on the lense.
  16. Hey Panda, Congratz bro Can you post more pictures of your suit?
  17. I will get to this soon. I've been on tour the last 2 months, so the building has been in between job. I will get to this soon I have pictures of the whole process
  18. Out killing ewoks ;)

  19. Yep! That's correct If you go for those gloves - you will have gloves for a lifetime They are great I Give you the dad of the year award! Awesome
  20. I'm thinking of trim the shoulder bells abit more. More like Pandatrooper's shoulder bells: http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=9781&st=60
  21. Yeah, on the first picutres it is! I have corrected that
  22. Thanks Jim. It's a relief to know that I'm close
  23. Thanks! Beside from the thigh boxes. Does it look ok?
  24. Ok, so I've done quite a few modifications now. I didn't have anyone to take the pictures for me, so I had to do it this way to give you guys a somewhat visual on how the process is going Notice the dropboxes. In the three first photos, they are as I adjusted them. In the fourth pictures I raised them abit to see if that was more correct. I've used the Celebration 2007 Biker Pics thread as reference. http://forum.bikerscout.net/index.php?showtopic=17501&hl=%2Breference+%2Bpictures&fromsearch=1 Not done yet and have some things to fix, but I think it's getting there Jonas
  25. I bought medium size and they are a perfect fit! I would guess I'm small, but I would rather have one size to big than one size too small. They are great gloves, so you won't be disappointed I doubt you have smaller hands than what I got, so I would probably send a message to the seller and ask for medium instead. But then again, that's all up to you. If I remember correctly, the seller had a table with measurements so I would know which size I needed. You should look into that Congratz on great gloves
