Hello Everyone,
Just joined up with the 501st in September. Met the South Valley Squad at a mixer at the local mall. I was in my TB when one of the guys from the squad asked me if I had ever thought of joining. I told him, I had been thinking of it for a while. He went and got his camera and took pictures. A couple of days later, I was approved as TB 57901. Been putting together costumes and models of Star Wars all my life.
Went to see A New Hope at the (at the time) Grummen Chinese theater in Hollywood in 1977. Last movie we saw together as a family. No movie after that could hold a light to it. Have loved it ever since.
First costume was a home made Darth Vader. Helmet was a Don Poste.
Love being here. First Troop as an OM was at the same mall. Fallen Hero's Car Show. Had such a great time. I'll never forget it.
