  1. Thank you so much. Terry is an AMAZING source! There is NO WAY I could have done it without him.
  2. That is AWESOME! I am so glad! Good luck to her and thanks for watching!
  3. Hey everyone! My name is Rob Williams. I am host of the Generation X-Wing Podcast and the Outer Rim Rookie show. For the last 2 years I have been documenting my journey to joining the 501st. With the help of my friend Terry Chui (PandaTrooper on these boards) and other members of the Outer Rim Garrison (BC Canada) I have gone through the trials and tribulations of constructing my Scout Trooper Armor. From buying materials, sewing, handling and how to submit your pics... with more vids to come! I made this video to help others through the journey and show that "If I can do it, you can do it". Today I have officially completed my journey. As of this morning, my armor has been approved and I am awaiting my TB number. If you are interested in joining the 501st, putting your armor together or just curious about my journey, I invite you to click the link below and watch my videos. Thanks everyone! Armor Is Built On Hope!
  4. I lost 30 lbs right in the middle of the build. The cummberbund had to be shortened. But me and Pandatrooper managed to make sure that nothing was too permanent and somewhat adjustable. We believed it was better to shrink down that add on. I have made a video on my build for others to follow along and guide Outer Rim Rookie (Generation X-wing Podcast on Youtube)
  5. Im having troubles finding the contact info to find Altmann helmets. Anyone out there help me out? Or suggest another maker? Thx Rob
  6. Hey everyone. My name is Rob. I run a podcast called The Outer Rim Rookie. I am documenting my journey to building my TB armour and joining the 501st. Its a vid/podcast that I do with a friend of mine from the Outer Rim Garrison (BC). The first step for me was to purchase fabrics (with his help). The second step was to sign up to the forums, so here I am! I have been fortunate to find a few things so far with little problem, BUT the hard part is the bucket and blasters. Do you guys have any suggestions of how to go about finding a rubber blaster and the more reliable/accurate vendor for a helmet. Thx everyone! Rob Williams
