If it's a Altmanns I believe it's just injected ABS and not paint . I paint cars for a living . I would lightly wet sand with 2000 grit and just polish the helm

I have both a Altmanns and LW and I must say you will be pleased with the Altmanns

Thanks everyone. After thinking it over I will keep the LW as well as my Altmanns. It's Christmas anyways so I'll make it a gift to myself

Really don't know if I should. I'm very happy with my Altmanns. I can buy the LW for 600$ Canadian. I'm not hurting for cash . Should I buy it ? I guess I should be asking myself this question lol . I'm TB 14983 . Let me know what you guys think

There is a great selection of trusted biker helms that can be found under the helmet section on this forum. I wear a Altmanns tho many other trusted brands are available. I would stay away from ebay and etsy when shopping for gear .

Me personally I would stay clear of this helm

Looks great trooper. A few things tho . The greebles on your thermal detonator are on the wrong side , your drop boxes are to low and you bags might need better placement . Also looks like the velcro on your left boot is not running up the middle of your leg

So I'm almost ready for approval pictures tho I feel my drop boxes are to low , my wife thinks I'm good to go . What is the proper distance between drop boxes and belt ? Thanks

Looking great trooper. I think your bags need better placement and your forearm armor needs to be outside just sitting on top of your gloves . Also not sure if I'm seeing this right tho the decal on your chest plate needs to be grey and I think it's black in the picture. One more thing , it's hard to tell in the picture tho are you wearing a flak vest ? If not you will need one
