uh. never noticed that before. top pic there wider and shorter then on bottom where their thinner and longer. since both are in movie I would gess both would be acceptable.

I started with getting the armor first. Then flight suit and vest. Then the cummerbund. Then boots and gloves. So basically I started with the parts that didn't need much for measurements.(armor) I figured that when you start on soft parts its best to start with your flight suit first and layer up each part when ya come to it measurement reasons and proper fitting and armor placement. Now I'm 90% done with mine and at the hardest part witch is finding the right helmet maker to complete my bikerscout suit.

this posting came at the right time coz I been looking for hours for a mannequin that I could display my 90% done scout on instead of having it all in a box in the closet.

I haven't been able to find or even know if I even have a local garrison here where I live at in the Midwest. I was figuring that I could find someone here that does this type of sewing work and send it off to them.

I just got my redcap suit and was wondering if there is anyone here that can do the sewing needed for me ? I don't have the knowledge of sewing or the machine to do so. So I figured that someone here could help me with this part or my scout trooper build. After that I can move on to the boots then helmet and be a biker scout then.

I have been wondering about bikerscoutboots.net. Did some looking around here on any info about them but never found any mention of bikerscoutboots.com so I never pursued into them. I didn't want to fall in a starfortress type of situation on getting boots. I would also like to see some pictures if you can pm me too.

I have used a silver colored art pencil to do some detailed used weathering looks on all the edges of blasters. could try that. We don't have the most of the same paints here in the US as you in England.
