Followed! Maybe we can see updates from dodger on here if he makes his return:) I put links up on my sites to help promote it.

I'd say go one size up. It starts right at first but you break it in as you go. Also a lot of people take the liner out and that gives some extra room. I'd don't think it'll be floppy, but you will lose dexterity the higher you go in size. 2xl is as big as they go so I can't say if it'll be good or not but I don't think it's hurt to go 2 up in size. They run a size smaller than normal. I usually wear X-Large gloves and got the XXL gloves and they are slightly tight. Check the sites sizing chart but I think you'll be OK going large
-
Just got these gloves recently for my build and wanted to help some people out with what to expect, pros and cons of the gloves, and show you how to properly measure your hands for ordering them! Overall these are fantastic gloves and I hope this helps some new/up and coming scouts with their builds:) If you enjoy the video please subscribe, I will be doing videos on other parts as I acquire them. Have a great day everyone:)

VIDEO Altmann Scout Helmet In Depth Look/Review!

I plan on starting out just getting basic clearance so I can get out there and troop then build up to Lancer as I go. Plus I don't think it's going to happen, but if I make a full build and do a troop then happen to not enjoy it as much as I thought then I wouldn't have dumped more money into a Lancer build when I can switch up and try another build. I WILL be a 501st member and the Scout is my favorite trooper, but if the scout is too uncomfortable I'll just build a new costume (I don't think this will happen however:) ) Good for you though I admire your enthusiasm go big or go home good luck on the Lancer build! -

Thanks for watching it:) Not if I don't have to. I think it's ready to go out of the box and the decals seem alright to me. The fish hook decal and everything else looks great so unless there was something I missed I won't mess with it -

Thanks Jim, and thank you for all your help with answering my questions BTW saw some of your videos sweet Flying V man! I'm playing an orange Schecter C-1 Classic myself. And a big thanks to Spike for the amazing helmet:) -
Good morning everyone:) I just received my Altmann helmet yesterday and I must say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! Spike's helmet is absolutely wonderful and I made an in depth look video to showcase this helmet. Excellent customer service, communication, and detail on the helmet. I cannot recommend him enough. Thanks a million Spike:) I hope this video can help some up-and-coming scouts (like myself) make a well informed choice:) PS If you like the video please subscribe Make sure you crank up the settings to 1080p60fps to see all the details.

Very cool! I suppose you could interchange the TIE flight suit and gloves, switch out the vest and helmet...I envy your costuming skills hopefully mine can be like that one day. I'm going to close this topic since you more than answered my questions (thank you also to Isaac!) Thank you guys again for guiding a new scout down the right path

Those buckets are too sweet! That TIE pilot is huge! A scout moonlighting as a pilot on weekends? I suppose that's not ironic compared to a TK standing in as a gunner, they miss just as much Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Nice! Heat and sweat in the foam is what I'm worried about. Hard hat liners have those interchangeable sweat bands so that's a plus. I might try both to see what I like. But I'm leaning toward the hard hat liner. Thank you guys for your willingness to help a new guy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for that info! I suppose it isn't really too pricy to try both. I was skeptical of foam because are there heat issues? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks a ton Jim! You're always a huge help:)

I'm getting one of Spike's helmets (super excited!) and I wanted to know what/how you guys put hard hat rigging or foam inside your helmets so I may do the same. I'm looking to put in a hard hat liner but am open to opinions/options on how to do that. Don't want to risk damaging the helmet since I'm green as grass when it comes to this (first build). Pictures are definitely appreciated, thanks guys:)

I'm new too and I picked the Scout not only because they're my favorite, but luckily enough they are one of the most functional builds (mobility, more comfortable boots, better helmet sight, CAN SIT DOWN!!). I agree with Jim, scouts are awesome but it may be a great starting point if you've never done this before. I would go 1.Regular Scout to get my feet wet 2. Shadow Scout to use your improved skills and fix things you might have missed on your first build 3. Boba Fett since that build will have much more details for certification. Here's to us both being Pathfinders one day

Totally agree with Craig, just got a pair I usually wear XL gloves and had to go to XXL according to the measurements. Was reluctant because I'd thought they'd be too big but it was a perfect fit except for being slightly snug on the knuckle ribs. Great gloves tho imo:)
