Same here. I’m in Va Beach and I feel the same. The best thing I did was invest in a high quality wicking balaclava from Under Armor.

Are you a Virginia Tech grad based on your name? I’m a Hokie as well. -

I’m in for some screws to upgrade my DVH blaster. -
This is what I use for my scout. My buddy in our garrison uses the same for his shore https://www.kroger.com/p/sterilite-wheeled-industrial-tote-black/0007314914699?fulfillment=PICKUP&storecode=02900540&&cid=shp_adw_shopl_.kroger_g_lia_shop_acq_evgn_ship_cleaning+and+organization_NEW&gclid=Cj0KCQjw-pCVBhCFARIsAGMxhAdVi1_GwqkAsWI_gljRxsCtb2brz8amSpWdsxc8FEuu8G-PJmlqlooaAnZIEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds

Howdy- Looking for feedback from the team on rivet placement on the knee armor (I measured 1/2 in down from top) and the bottom of my tank. Thanks in advance! Hilary

Howdy- I have modded my SC holster as suggested. Want a check from the group on it's size and any other potential issues before I drill the holes and attach to the boot. Thanks in advance. Thanks. I haven't made the back patch yet. I just tried the suit on (it still needs some tapering in the leg) and the patches felt good. The blue tape (the bottom of the blue tape) is the top of my knee cap. Is the patch two long? I thought I read it was supposed to be 2 to 3 inches above the knee. But from the top of the knee? https://ibb.co/jTW2Qvx

Modifying my fight suit with a coverall base. Since no formal patterns exist for the riding patch I used some images and constructed a rough pattern and cut it out of felt as a mock up. What are the thoughts here? does it need to go up to the waistline? Any general feedback is appreciated. https://ibb.co/ymTKGNr

Excellent. Thanks for this.

Th Thanks for this photo. This is how I was thinking of finishing mine up. So when we suit up the elastic strap will essentially go over the outside of the butt flap on the flight suit correct?

Merry Christmas All.

Looking forward to seeing the setup.

Looks sharp. Can I see the inside of your bund and how the suspenders are set up? Thanks.

Hit up SC. They have great customer service. My 2nd armor set arrived miscut and holes not punched. He replaced the whole set. -
Blue tape on top and bottom represent 1/2 in trim

Updated Holster...thanks for the call out on the holster. Updated.

Want to get the groups thoughts on the placement of the holster or any other mods that need to be done before I rivot it in? Trying for lancer status. Thanks! The blue tape is there to show the top of the holster against the white of the boot. Hilary

Holster finished. I have made the cuts and I hope they pass lancer status. I replaced the aluminum portion of the DVH rubber blaster with some steel stock pieces to make it magnetic. Took advantage of neodymium magnets to add extra security to the holster and hold in the blaster when walking. How do the cuts look for lancer status?

Imperial Boots! The fit was perfect!

Been slowly making progress and just haven't uploaded photos. TD is done. Thanks to all who provided feedback. This is the HDX tube from home depot with the extension cord cable wrapped around it from home depot as well. I used the clips that have been posted before from amazon. Also borrowed the idea from PandaTrooper on creating a lip on the inside of the caps to better be able to glue them on. These are the updated end caps from SC with the indention in them.
