  1. Are rivets the only thing allowed to attach the belt clips to the tube? I saw where someone used flathead screws.
  2. Much appreciation! I hate to get hung up on what amounts to a small and possibly overlooked detail, but it's better to ask. Thanks again!
  3. The CRL shows the zip tie with the smooth side facing in. There's no detail too small and I just want to ensure that I'm not overlooking any detail.
  4. As I'm building my suit for an eventual Lancer approval, would be it be more appropriate to ask these questions in my WIP thread or if the Lancer Deployment Request forum best for this?
  5. Thank you so much! I don't want to lean on you or Cadet Ficker with the Ohio Garrison too much, but the knowledge and expertise that you all share with us newbs, is priceless and much appreciated! Man! Do you know how hard it is to find a this washer?
  6. Do you mind me asking what the width of the washer is that you used on the top of your tank topper?
  7. Question regarding the trapezoid piece and the rank bars for the tank. The trapezoid piece is only required if the tank has 4 bars and I have the stickers that came with the Studio Creations armor I bought, but it didn't include the trapezoid piece and the rank bars are not the correct thickness. Does anyone have a lead on where I could get those or measurements to make my own? Much appreciation!
  8. I just ordered the base boots only and looking forward to taking the boot covering with the leather. @Chopper shared a post about a trooper who took it on. It looks challenging, but doable with time and patience. Thanks and much appreciation!
  9. I was on the CP site to place the order for the under boots and saw that they do leather a outter shell also. As compared to the boots on the CRL, the CP boots look way off and I'm not sure if that's due to the leather or how they're put together. https://imgur.com/cetmUV3 https://imgur.com/ZpQrTXR
  10. I always 2nd guess myself as tutorials online seem to make things look too easy. I think I want to make the boots something I invest more than money into. I,m going to go with CrowProps but see they're located in Ecuador. Wondering if I should be worried about the international shipping? I saw this video https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=2831242230460614 I'm wondering how difficult it would be to work with leather and if there are patterns for pieces needed? Sorry to latch on and bombard you with all of the questions. If it's better to take this to specific topics, I can definitely do that.
  11. I ordered the bolts through Amazon. I read through some of the posts in the forum, regarding boots and the names I see are Imperial Boots and Crow Props. I think I was leaning towards CP. The inner boot seems to be top notch, but the leather work needs some work.
