OK, quick test fit. I need to shift the bund up. Right pouch was spaced a little much due to me switching them while I had everything on since I initially stuck them on backwards. I haven't added the butt flap yet (oversight on my part). Otherwise, how's it looking? I've been horrible at updating this thread, but I'll get some pictures put on here later this evening including a complete test fit! I just received my 1 piece belt from Pilot Bay today, but everything else is ready (I hope) to Lancer Spec (I hope), except for my Altmann helmet that I'm waiting on.

My KS is the same way. I got angry at it and ordered an Altmann. I had assumed that mine was a warped piece from sitting in a box for 4 years before I unpacked it last week to start working on it. Sounds like I need to go at mine with a heat gun. Gonna keep an eye on this one and see how it comes together and see if I can get inspired to give mine another go.

Shoulders: Rounded Bottom Corners Simple use of scissors and some sanding to round off the pointed corners of the pre-trimmed SC bells.

Great find. I didn't even consider Hobby Lobby since they all closed down around here for the shelter in place. Ordered some, so hopefully it'll show up in a week or less. (What's another week after waiting 4.5 years? 😂)

It is starting to look like I will need to make my own 1/2 inch elastic. Nowhere has it in stock and no delivery via Amazon until around May? It's a good thing I have steady scissor hands.

Wow, that got away from me... 0% completion so far. 😂 Dug it all out yesterday and ordered all my velcro, elastic, material, etc. I guess sitting in a box for 4.5 years isn't too bad, right? 🙄

Well, I sent back my original armor set, but I kept the helmet. Ordered from SC, and it will be here tomorrow! I've done a little trimming on the helmet kit, but I don't have a lot of time to sit and work on it and I haven't found a good KS bucket build tutorial yet.

So, I received my KS armor a couple of days ago and finally got the chance to get it out of the box last night. Has anyone else who has ordered KS armor had pitted and wavy pieces? The helmet is good, decent pull but a little soft on one side. The other pieces, not so satisfied with them... They jumped right on making things right, however. I am very pleased with their customer service.

I'm counting down the days until I receive my new kit. I ordered back around May 4th and have an ETA of "beginning of June". I'm starting to get soft parts in order. I'll be picking up some work boots today at Wal-Mart, ordering the Redkap coveralls online, and picking up materials for bund/flak/boots/flight suit mods at a fabric store in the next couple of days. It's gonna be fun trying to fit it in between selling Mando Armor, making a new custom Mando kit, and my real world job that has recently been calling for 14+ hour days every day except Sunday. I will be building towards Lancer from the start, so I hope I didn't make a mistake going with KS.
