  1. Ok, I have made the adjustments. Thanks for looking. Reduced gap on shoulder bells: Vest sleeves adjusted and biceps raised higher: TD brackets adjusted: Flight suit legs tightened: Cod Piece:
  2. Understood, Thank you for your time.
  3. Just checking to see if you had a chance to look over my alterations? Standing by for any other needed photo's / adjustments.
  4. I apoligize for fat fingering the title of this thread, indeed my TKID is TB-19347
  5. Alright here are my adjustments!

  7. I am chasing Lancer status and contemplating using my current boots vice a new pair. My question is whether or not there might a way to make my cut outs possible with a little work or should I start from scratch?
  8. Well it is Fiberglass so there are plus and minuses of that. Easily repaired and sturdy but rather heavy. I opted for the slightly larger v2, but if I had it to do again I would get the standard size Fiberglass one from them. Good support and communication with them and the helmet is well detailed. Would not troop longer than 4 hours at a time with it. Neck may get sore.
  9. I guess I stand alone with the NI58 Bucket. It's larger and fiberglass. Waiting on Dicky Beer Bucket now
  10. Great helmet if your a big or tall guy, if regular helmet sizes make you look silly, then the V2 is your helmet. I have trooped with it for a year now. I like it and it receives good reviews from all the scouts that have seen it in person at troops. I would buy the V1 fiberglass if your just looking for a nice FG Bucket that's regular sized. I can take pics if anyone needs them. these are heavier helmets, but being FB they are sturdy and easily repaired.
  11. Thanks for the insight. I figure also that FG can be etched, redone, repainted and all in case it needs more accuracy. I appreciate all the feedback.
  12. I can see how that plays into it. It's an opportunity to get a nice helmet for 3 bills painted. Didn't want to pass it up. On the flip side would FG be easier to repair then plastic? Wonder how much more it will weigh.
  13. I was worried that the one on eBay would be too much with regard to trapping heat and sweat. Like a musty motorcycle helmet. I'm going to use batting and Velcro to make some cheek pads and head cover.
  14. Wondering if a fiberglass helmet has any cons vs an abs plastic one, obviously the fiberglass would be a bit heavier and hotter. Any advice is appreciated.
