I painted the inside of my SC bucket. No bleed through. If anything it stops any light going through and I just like the way it looks. Also I would imagine if you use a good matte black a silver sharpie would show up well enough on it.

I have a full SC kit and contacting Jeff for the instructions is the best way to go. I got my kit from him in person and he told me he was reworking the helmet assembly instructions and to just shoot him an email for them.

Found these at the wonderful wally worldfor 20 bucks. the only real drawback so far is the steel toe. Makes em a might bit uncomfortable unless I take it a half size up. I've seen some others on here but not as inespensive as these. you guys think they might be workable?
