That bad......lol

Well I am back. I have moved and I went through a bad divorce and more. I am living in St. Louis now working as a 3D artist. Glad to be back on this site and working on Star Wars things. So my newest toy other than scout stuff is a new 2015 Mustang. So how has everyone been doing?

It took around 3 weeks. Faster than I thought it would take. It was mailed from Great Britain on the 22 and I got it today. Not bad since it had to come across lots of land and a huge body of water and then tucked to Florida. I do not see many Royal Mail by the way. I loved the BBC Top Gear episode were they raced in a fast Car and we're trying to beat the Royal Mail. BEST SHOW EVER...

I got the helmet in today. I will be doing my review in a few days. Here are some pics of the helmet.

Sorry have not been on here in a few days. I been looking for a job. Also went skydiving over the weekend. Wish I had a scout trooper suit on but ya its not finished. I would have to take the back tank off to make room for the parashoot etc. Also have no idea how the suit would react to the high winds on the way down. If it worked it would make for a great pic...hmmm maybe I have idea....

I am building this suit so I can be in the 501st but more importantly its a way I can have fun and go to hospitals around the city and see kids with cancer etc and make them forget they are sick for a few mins. I was in a coma in 2003 after a med pump ODed me and my heart stopped and I was dead for over 5 min but came back to life after the doc etc gave up. I woke up in the kids cancer part of the hospital. They did not have many fun things to do so I thought this would be fun to do. I get to be in 501 and do things to make kids happy at the same time...

Hello all. I got my blaster in as well as the SC armor on the same day..... its Christmas here... Updates on the build will slow down since I lost my job and will be moving. Will post updates as I can.

I lost my job yesterday. I am still going to finish my scout trooper suit but will take me longer. Updates as they come. Sorry Chex but we will be moving back to Atlanta GA. My last day at work is June 13.

YARD WORK!!!! Sounds like you need to round up some EWOK'S and get them to work..... It may help to be in your scout trooper suit barking orders waving your blaster around saying I HAVE A TOUCHY TRIGGER FINGER.....ROFL

No I have not. I have emailed him to see if I can get more pictures and info. I see that and I was told that the finished one does not have that problem.

Looks great but why is the snout black rather than grey?

Thought the new pics would help. I think the helmet looks great and as far as I can see right on with the one out of the movie. Your thoughts on them.

I found these pics of the helmet. The clay sculpt and the comparison of the movie and NI helmet.

I got word in a email from NI that the entire helmet is around 1 inch larger than the V1 helmet. They made the V2 helmet closer in size to the real ones off the movie. More info on the way.

That will also be a great time to take great pics of all the helmets together so you can really see the difference.

We can go over the helmet when it comes. Sure bring your KS and LW helmets and we can comapre the helmets. Look at it this way at least I did not get a SF one.....

The helmet is NOT cheap by any means. Its $487.20 USD with shipping. So ya I am always down to take one for the team. Its how a scout trooper should be. In or out of battle...lol ..

Yes it does look great. I have been emailing the guy and told him the ENTIRE 501st scout trooper site bikerscout.net wanted to see the helmet. Told him I was going to do a review...... I think I made him nervous...... been kind of quiet since that email....ROFL
