  1. ....but it does have its right to exist 😉 😋 --->> ...nevertheless I don't wear a neck seal either.
  2. Absolute amazing weathering 👌👌👌
  3. Yes...sry, I've overlooked that.
  4. One thing I have to add....the codpiece--->> RS one: Original one: --->> At the RS codpiece the seam is too high. ....but I think only the armour parts are relevant....isn't it?!? Cheers...
  5. Thanks for sharing, Ken 👌
  6. Congrats trooper.....and welcome to our ranks 😊
  7. Congrats Björn....well done as well ☺️
  8. Hey mate... yes...this build is really fiddly..but if you know how can you approach, then it's not so difficult....ok, for the 1st helmet maybe yes. If my current wip doesn't help, then you can see in our local Garrison puplic forum there I have started a build with fully pics of the whole assembling--->> https://www.501st.de/articles.php?article_id=8 ....hope this helps. But in the near future I want to start here in this Forum a new topic with the same pics....I think pics says more than 1000 words. Cheers...
  9. Oh yes...really fiddly 🤣
  10. Cheers folks... ...a few weeks ago I've started with a new Biker lid build....unfortunately not for myself..rather for a friend. 😝 Well...here we go--->> ...no start with a build without a good beer 😂 Primer and filler--->> Lacquer finish--->> ...he is still white 😄 --->> ...now here is the helmet with his weathering--->> ...that's it so far. Next step is the final assembly of the glasses behind the mask and 3M headliner. Well, then the helmet is ready to send to the new owner ^^ Thx for watching 😊
  11. Really good build of your helmet. I like the idea with the magnet.
  12. Hi ..... Naaaa...it's a bit tricky to find out the right paint match without color match cards like as example the "RAL" color matching....except you have such color match cards. Then you can find out a matching color....not really 100%, but close enough to the white from the armour. But usually it's the color "RAL 9016". And consider...with a good weathering you will not really see a paint difference....respectively you do not notice it directly. Or the best way is you lacquer the armour with the same paint for the helmet. Hope it helps....
  13. Jup...this sounds maybe better...glue a screw in the bump and then trough the plastic of the helmet and then an nut as securing.
  14. If that works?...enough adhesion for the 2 components glue to fix the 'bump' on the plastic?!? I think of the constant closing and opening from the visor.....you know?!?
  15. No, not really...occasionally I'll update some parts of my costumes. The latest update of my biker scout was the helmet.
  16. Wow...what an awesome build of your costume. And I like especially your weathering...really great work on it. Cheers....
  17. Best pic of you--->> http://www.starwarshelmets.com/2018/SWH18_EFX_Limited_Scout45B.jpg :lol:
  18. Like Constantin has wrote is the black padding also (from my view) the big problem that the jaw doesn't close really well....and of course the thickness of the material. That was clearly a thinking error in the production--->> The red circle areas show the problem why the jaw doesn't really close.
  19. I've not a problem with it that I'm the model. In according your comment that you want an armour set from the head to the toe from one maker I just wanted to give you the note, that the helmet is from another maker. But if the important part the armour, then it's ok for me. Cheers. Gesendet von meinem HTC Desire 10 lifestyle mit Tapatalk
  20. Lol...I didn't know that I'm the model for D'Chef's armour....but cool. And one important note please....the helmet is NOT from D'Chef, it's a "Lone Wolf" helmet. Well, only the armour is from D'Chef. Thx.....Cheers....
  21. Yep...I totally agree with you. It's rather an excuse.... Btw...nice build. I don't have a RS lid, but I'm totally happy with my LW helmet which I've fully modificated. But perhaps one day I'll buy a RS bucket....out of sheer boredom becaus I like the build of it so much  :P
  22. To the statement of Gino.....well,what should I say.... The facts are on the table...where was the problem to make this helmet out from normal ABS plastic?!? Fibreglass is more susceptible for damages...alone if I think at the visor And about this statement: The gap on top was intentional as there needed to be plenty of clearance when the visor is put into the 'up' position so that it wouldn't scrape against the top of the helmet If they had made a good job at this place/area everyone wouldn't complain...especially at the trim work...not to mention the chin area All in all...if you want a good replica of an original screen used helmet, then you have to order at RS. Amen.
  23. Wtf.....this is really horrible -.- Gesendet von meinem HTC Desire 10 lifestyle mit Tapatalk
