  1. Buckets off for Dylan. Thanks for the memories, brother.
  2. If there is anything further that I can do to help with on the CRL (other than previous discussion), please let me know.
  3. Looking at that latest photo... It's just... dumbfounding how they paid so much attention to the bund and stitching and the gloves. They KNEW certain aspects of the costume. But just... seemed to ignore the part about the pouches, Vest/bund and knees. And now I'm noticing that the knees don't even have double straps. (one up top, one lower) Either way, if production can call on the 501st for TK's... They should've called any of us for this crap. (No disrespect intended for anyone building one. It's just not for me. )
  4. Weeks later and my heart is still broken for him. I didn't have much interaction with him, but he touched my life and my heart in the time I knew him. Much love and respect from Alabama, brother. God Bless.
  5. Don't get me wrong. I appreciate that The Biker Scouts are getting more exposure. I think it's great. And I'm hoping that it brings more traffic here. I'm hoping that it has a POSITIVE impact on our community and section of the legion. But I'm also kinda hoping that most people that see it will be driven here in appeal to the Biker Scout costume and want to do it to the standards of ROTJ. I feel that it is a much more professional appearance of the costume. I feel that it is the more popular and socially acceptable methods of wearing it. I'm hyped that we're featured in the show... But the character that we all flocked here to be were the first versions. And I wish it could be kept that way. I'm a fan of the show. And my frustrations are mostly based on how sloppy the costuming department was in application of the archives of what they had to review before sending it out into the world. We all deserve to be seen better and to be seen as what we are. Not what they make us. I can't speak on the appearance and accuracy of any of the other OTC characters and if their costumes were accurate and correct. I can only speak on the Biker Scouts. And I just wish that it appeared that they cared more about our community and the standards we have met to be accurate, ourselves.
  6. And.... THIS is why I respect the bad word out of you, 007. YOU ARE THE MAN. And I appreciate you.
  7. The grey bar on the chest both appear to be on the right of the suit. The Holsters appear to be on different boots. and the opposite boot appears to go to the knee. ... Just making discussion for the CRL. Sorry.
  8. I mean, not to throw fuel on the pyre, but the T-bits are being worn way too low as well. It is a sloppy or... lazy way of doing it. But I think most of us could probably switch it up at troops and represent the show and the movies. Just my 2 cents.
  9. Much respect, Jim. You’ll be missed greatly. Thank you for your time and dedication. Thank you for your friendship. Thank you for being so selfless and for never saying no to a kid that had a dream. I had hoped to meet you one day, but I still will hold out hope that will on the battlefield above. You were an inspiration and a great man. If anyone is taking up any donations or anything for his family... please let me know.
  10. My tank cracked a little when i put the rivet in, but all i did was take some superglue and coat the crack and sand... problem solved.
  11. I promise you, I'm not trying to give you a hard time... but I think better lighted pictures out in the sun would help a little. I know i'd suggest that you pull your t-bits up. and... from what i can see here, it looks good to me. Good work, trooper. be careful on those knees. I don't know if you tend to kneel for pictures, but I don't suggest it.
  12. Closest thing I've found, or care to assume on : http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00SD8HUW2/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=1944687662&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe-1&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00SD8IHWE&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=1PQB3ANKAB21TKJGKAKZ
  13. Yes, they should be your tank stripes. you should have up to, but no more than six on your tank.
  14. I have SC armor, and a KS helmet. I can't recommend Jeff and SC enough. There will be some work you will have to do yourself, and things to figure out as to how to make it work best for you... but nothing super hard. A Scout if a pretty easy build. Especially with the SC kit. As noted above, it does come with almost everything you need in your armor kit set. As for KS, I'll freely admit that I had some delays on my helmet... but it was well worth the wait and hassle. It's a good, quality helmet. Just needs a little work to be better. Easy fixes. And I'd always suggest having them assemble it. They know what they are doing.
  15. James, A good number of us have. SC is a great set of armor, and Jeff who runs the place is an awesome guy with top notch customer service. Feel free to shoot me a PM with any further questions you have.
