  1. Absolutely! Head on over to the site and place your order. Don't forget your measurements as well! Thanks.
  2. Thanks for the plug Joseph. It makes me happy to hear that you were satisfied with my work. Turn around times are usually four weeks and I ship them priority mail USPS.
  3. I have been told by my New England members there was a thread about my boots here. I would be more than happy to address any concerns. They are not lancer ready, but affordable (3 levels to accommodate personal budgets) and made by hand, with only high quality materials. I have made many for Scouts, Shadow Scouts and Children to go with Walt's Biker Squirt armor. I don't really advertise here because I do it for the enjoyment of it, and not looking to make it a career. I don't really make a lot of money at the prices I sell them for. Just looking to help out fellow Scouts. It started by making them for myself and then every recruit and member in my Garrison who wanted them. It just expanded from there. I have made many pairs and for people all over the Legion at this point. Feel free to take a look or contact me anytime.
  4. Is it cracking and falling off? I ask this because you may have some small resin dust in the grooves and seams. It could also be an oil left over from the pull that got into those areas. I ran into this problem. I found cleaning with rubbing alcohol (make sure it gets in there us a cotton swab if needed), and priming first. Then wet sanding (dipping the sandpaper in water before using) with a fine sandpaper. Letting it dry and then painting solved my problems. I also use rubber gloves to keep oils from the fingers off. When you used three different spray paints, were they all the same brand? Intermixing brands can cause chemical reactions and lack of adhearing.(The sticky reaction.) If you have mixed a bunch together, it might be best to strip it and start again. Like I said I have delt with this while painting a Tie helm for someone. Also, how old was the paint(s) you used? I find once you use a spray can, storing them on the shelf it doesn't take long before the paint becomes sub par.
  5. Don't forget the small strip that runs along the front of the boot. I would reccomend doing that before the dogbone.
  6. I have been lucky enough not to drop in my Scout or my Rex yet. I want to ride a go-kart! I did ride on an amusement ride at Lego land. I think you meant Steve not Rob.
  7. I thought I would add some flair to this thread by adding a video of a recent troop for laughs. http://vid72.photobu...zpsmk1uzrrw.mp4 I thought my Aker in my right pouch was going to fly out. It was Max's birthday, so I had to lose.
  8. I had the same issue. I made small trims around the back end of the front visor until it matched up. It wasn't off by much before I first started.
  9. I didn't paint any of my SC armor. You should be just fine and shiny the way it is.
  10. No problem there. It will happen naturally for sure. Trust me.
  11. If I can offer a suggestion. I hold my cummberbund up with black suspenders. My chest armor then overlaps the ends of the suspenders. If you go that route and keep your chest snug, you won't ever have to worry about the embarassing "black divide." Trust me. I participated in a Jump roping contest with a Mascot Sunday, I stayed together no problem, as well as the rest of the parts.
  12. This is coming together very well. I have solid backing in my pouches as well. It is a great place to put your voice amp and no one knows where the voice is coming from. As well as your keys, phone and wallet.
  13. Well so far no one has been able to tell. Thanks for the glove advise, I may check them out instead now.
  14. Looks great! Nice job.
  15. I am interested in seeing how this comes out.
  16. That is not right at all. That is really bad practice.
  17. Well all the Scouts in my garrison had flight suits, so it probably never came up before.
  18. I got one of those. Get ready it is quite the construction!
  19. Next, is the "flight suit." This was a turning point in my construction. I took the CRL very literally and I ordered a flight suit from a U.S. Airforce supplier. I had to supply every measurement you could think of. Man was it heavy fabric but was really nice. Not soon after I began having issues with my core temperature. My Dr. believed it was a thyroid condition. Temperatures in the mid 60s began to feel like mid 80s. When I started wearing the flight suit while putting on armor to size it, I became way overheated and woozy. While talking to my GML at the time, I was informed that it could be a two piece, Dickies/Work Clothes. The fabric was lighter and two pieces that helped me to breathe. I tried this setup and realized this is the way I was going to have to go. At that point I had to give up on my original desire to be a Lancer. Photos to come.
  20. Good luck! Hopefully you will be approved and ready to go soon!
  21. Enjoy! It is an exciting process.
  22. Oh no doubt, I am sure it did.
  23. This! I have two, one white and one black. They are awesome.
  24. Looking good! I would stitch around your suede patches. After a few troops or a nice real long parade you might wish you had.
  25. The fact this is a Rubies suit, make this build amazing.
