I had an SC bucket on my extra large head, it doesn't work How I ever got this through approval I'll never know ...

I used a Dremel for most of my trimming and shaping with a light grit to clean up after. Best advice I can give is read a couple of build threads 3 times, measure everything 4 times, and fit test each piece before permanently attaching anything. Mistakes can be corrected with some effort, but best to make as few as possible with some preparation. Another great tool is to head to reach out to your local garrison/squad and ask about upcoming armor parties and see if any scouts would bring their kit and discuss there build with them, ask about what they did for various pieces and what they wished they had done differently.

There are a few two piece suits and many two piece bund/cod setups here.

I actually just threw mine in the wash on hot the other day and it came out fine. However I did not machine dry, I just hung it up outside.

Congrats!

A thing of beauty right there, if I had 1 nit pick though, polish up those boots scout. weathered boots and shiny armor don't really match

Certain color of gray for the snout piece?

honestly, I just used Testor Spray Enamel Semi-Gloss Primer and it looked great. -
I actually just used some 1" foam cut into various shapes and E6000'd them into the bucket, it has worked for me. I will try to post a picture later today.

I can attest to what Mickey said about the SC being a smaller lid, I had to trade mine up to a CB. As for the CB, it takes a bit to get it, about 6 to 8 weeks, as he ships from Bolivia. I'm still waiting on mine but the other stuff I have gotten from him has been top notch so I doubt the lid will be any different.

Hello and welcome, take a look at Panda troopers build, I know it's a sticky in the armor forum. He takes an SC down quite a bit to fit his smaller frame.
