  1. I only sewed the elastic to the suede patches and on the seam on the side. It's not hard to do and looks good.
  2. And the confusion continues. The CRL on the 501st site says 2", though I guess that could be outdated.
  3. So the same as the front/back shoulder gap pieces and drop box straps?
  4. I'm seeing conflicting information and I'm confused. What exactly is called for for size and type of strap under the arm?
  5. I got my boots and I've finished marking up a pair. I figured I'd post here to keep it all in one place. Is the horizontal stripe on the back going to be tall enough? It's about 1/2cm tall.
  6. I have to say, I never thought it'd be this hard trying to find a good set of boots. I'm looking for comfort, quality, longevity and the least amount of touch up work to meet lancer spec, though the first three are the most important parts. I think I found a pair that will meet my requirements, but I'd like opinions from the more seasoned professionals. http://www.sears.com/timberland-pro-men-s-work-boot-6inch-direct-attach/p-067B0041000P?prdNo=1&blockNo=1&blockType=G1
