  1. Yeah...originally we glued the elastic in...I tore it all out weeks ago and replaced with velcro. Now everything is adjustable and works much better. Now to finish this suede and get ready for approval. Finally. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  2. I got it all figured out I had to readjust my entire setup...it's snug but I can get that 2" gap... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  3. Just tried to order webbing from jontay.com but they do not ship to my area apparently. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  4. I'll post up a pic later. I didn't trim any of my armor which I thought was weird... Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  5. It's SC I didn't trim it at all...the gap isn't 4-5" but to cover the gap and still cover some of the front and back plates it would need to be closer to 4" Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  6. It's impossible...I can't shrink my rib cage Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  7. As long as they make it wide enough to cover my shoulders. I have about 4-5" to cover Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  8. Everytime I go in and ask for cotton webbing they give me something that resembles the belt and there is no way that's correct. I found some cotton fabric that looks like everyone else's I've ever seen and I'm just using that since I can't seem to find anything that says it's wrong. 9. I know it said cotton webbing but that just looks way too thick...oh well Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  10. I was actually just reading something about this...is it still Lancer spec to have an elastic band coming from the shoulder to the shoulder bell? I didn't think it was but I like the look of it.. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  11. It's MLC for sure not exactly sure what version...I moved the magnets back a bit further on my faceplate and it seems to close much nicer...if it starts acting up again I'll just velcro it shut and call it a day. Thanks for the input everyone! Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  12. Hey everyone...I had two junk pouches and I was wondering if that same fabric cpuld be used to wrap my shoulders? Also if it will be acceptable, how many times do I wrap it around? Does it have to be really tight? Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  13. I'm curious if anyone else is having a similar issue. My helmet does not close the whole way..i installed magnets to try and help it stay close...the magnets work great however it still does not close. I attached a pic of my helmet so everyone can see what I'm talking about. It's not because it's sitting on a surface either...I can't figure out what to do to keep it closed....any ideas? 14. Hey everyone. What is the easiest way to sew suede onto the jumpsuit. I do NOT have a sewing machine. I have upholstery thread and the curved needle but the needle is pretty thick and I worry the thread will eventually tear through the suede...thoughts? Tips? Not thrilled about hand sewing this but it needs done. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I747 using Tapatalk
  15. Right but if I need this for approval I'm not just going to sew stuff together and hope it looks right. If I'm going to do it I'm foing it right not half assed. It just blows my mind that there is no pattern for this vest even though it's a piece that is necessary for 501st approval.

  17. Hey everyone...I'm new here. I have one piece to get for approval...the vest. I cannot find for the life of me a vest online. I have access to a sewing machine but absolutely no skill when it comes to sewing. If I could find a vest I could buy outright or send someone my measurements to have one made that would be great! If I could even get a pattern I'm sure I could work something out too...PLEASE HELP!!
