  1. Hi everyone! First I want to say a big thank you to all who have followed my work and gave all sorts of advice. You guys are just awesome Now, new topic with new q. After several troopings, I identified several problems in the armor which I want to solve (yes and slowly prepare everything for the application for lancer) First - HELMET While I'm not going to buy a new kit with a smaller helmet, I need to improve my helmet inside. During last trooping with Nordic Garrison, I saw different solutions for the wearer's comfort. I'm not too happy with my quick solution, so I want to consult with others. 1. How did you fill your helmet inside? (photo welcome) 2. How do you solve the problem right proportion? *I'm not high, so I need to use pillows for helmet for right proportion I will appreciate any answers, but please be specific. I know about pillows for helmet, but I would like to know how you have them laid out, where to buy and the rest of the secrets to a comfortable life of the head
  2. Hi guys! I have a question about blaster. My member is trying to make a blaster from 3d printer. This model can be used for lancer? We will be happy to see your questions, remarks and comments. As well as the exact parameters of blaster, if we did something wrong. Examples:
  3. Sorry for waiting
  4. My pouch couldn't carry my Lumia and started to sag =/ I'm trying to realize what to do. Fabric is thick. Pouch holds by one velcro that is sewn to the back of the cummer.
  5. Hello guys! I decided to share my progress in the armor. Yesterday we had event where I tested some parts of the armor. I still need: - finish the collar (I want to sew a new collar) - replace the elastic on the sides of the chest armor on the slings - create TD - 2 more rivets on boots - make "jaw" on the helmet - replace silver screws on the helmet What are the problems I faced: 1. It seems to me that the helmet is pretty low. Or it normally looks in proportion? If not, then I'll add foam to the helmet. 2. Pouches. I am a supporter of functional clothing. Therefore, in addition to foam, I would like to carry something in my pouches. But found that the pockets are beginning to sag. Maybe make an additional Velcro? Thank you!
  6. Excellent! I'll do it. Thanks for the reply.
  7. Hello everyone! Update 30.09.13 Pouches yet unfilled. Are there any comments? I have a question about mudflap. Is it too long?
  8. Hi everyone, I'm back. After a couple of days of torment I've got question about shape of rear. Any suggestions? I have two options: round or not round
  9. Okay. I agree about the back (top part of patch pined because at first I thought it's too long) But in front I'm afraid that patch will block zipper. How to solve this problem? Make a piece of patch on zipper?
  10. Thanks, Chef. I created own version, based on patterns and photographs of original costume. This is a sampler from fabric. Any suggestions? Or clarifications? I was particularly interested in the width, height and shape of the back part. It is correct or not? Sorry for a poor quality of photos
  11. Hi everyone! While searching for examples of riding patches on this forum, I've found different types of them: 1. This one is my favourite 2. Patch pattern from the gallery 3. One-piece patch by Chunk Which type is the closest to the original one? If I want to do my Scout a good one, I need to recreate the authentic costume as close as possible. Thank you!
  12. Hello guys! I need an advice one more time. We started working on a helmet. We cut the "ear" hole. Is it big enough and correctly placed? Thanks!
  13. Hi everyone! We (me, SL-10010, and my husband ID-11100) have just received our SC kits. It's our first project with plastic armour, so we're a new to that. We've tried some pieces of armour on ourselves and it seems that for me it's a little bit big. Can I trim it a little bit or I should leave all the parts intact? ID-11100 noticed that shoulder part will look better on him if he will trim a 0.5 cm of it - is this ok? Thank you very much! P.S.: Sorry, I don't have pictures, but I can try to do them if it will help in understanding my concern.
  14. Hi! Small question: Would this boots be useable for base? Hummer boots Thanks
