Just put on everything I got (I'm still missing the velcro under the kneepads, upper and lower arms so those pieces are loose). I just hope the armor for the arm is acceptable since the armor looks huge on my short arm >.< don't really know what to do about that since the upper and lower arm can't really be trimmed down much more and the gloves are also really long. Here are two pictures of what it looks like on me. Please ignore the pouches/cummerbund and strapping between chest and back, I'm still working on making it fit. Other than that I just have to do the strapping under the arms, the TD, make my helmet ready and ... biggest challenge left are the boots. A blaster kit is also on its way :-)

Fantastic I hope you'll soon share some photos

Thank you for the feedback. Now I know I'm on the right way

Did a testfitting for the softparts and the chest/shoulder bells yesterday. Unfortunately the pictures don't show the pouches, because I'll have to make another pair >.< And I tried the belt. What do you think about the height of the belt boxes? I think it fits quiet well.

It's not his new Scout helmet (version 2), but his first Scout helmet (version 1), which can also be ordered in his shop. OK, perhaps I found someone who could do the repair but I can only talk to him next week. I also received the return address, but I hope it's ok for the dealer if I wait with the return for another week. I would feel much better if I wouldn't have to ship it another time EDIT: just got another reply and I will send him a mail next week. So contact with the seller is really fine

@Chef I know what you mean. I did send him a mail yesterday evening and asked him for his details so I can send it back. So I can just wait for the adress and hope it works out ok. I didn't have the impression that the fibreglass is particularly thin. If I'd let the helmet fall on the floor it would surely break but that's something I expected. @Dearmeat PM sent @Darth Voorhees that's really a great offer! Thank you so much. As I said I did send the dealer a mail yesterday so I hope to hear back from him soon and that he's going to fix it for me. I would feel better if the helmet stays within Europe, particularly because of the high shipping fees and the customs duty

Thank you for your opinions, that helps me a lot. For me as a newbie it's difficult to judge if the repair can be done easily or not.

I've now received my bucket from a dealer in England. All in all I'm really happy with it and the size is perfect for me as I'm rather small so I feared that it might be too big for me. That is not the case Unfortunately it arrived with three cracks. Two are rather small but one is near one of the screws, so I contacted the dealer and I was offered a refund of 15 Pound or the possibility to send the helmet back and let him do the repair. Here are pictures of the cracks: The helmet is made from fibreglass. I don't have a lot of experience with that. Could you give me any advice on how I can fix the cracks? I don't care if they are still visible after fixing since I'd like to add some weathering either way, but I just don't want the cracks to get any bigger. Or should I rather not experiment and just get it repaired by him? I'd really appreciate any advice.

Thanks will try to modify the riding patch as soon as I find the time. @Eagerly can't wait for that ;D I've finished the first pouch, so here's a picture of it: No padding added, I just used some "iron-on tape" (I hope you know what I mean, that's what the dictionary said) on the bottom and the sides. The color of the pouch on the pictures at the top is what approx. looks in real, the color of the pictures at the bottom is too bright because of the flash. I've finished sewing the second pouch just need to wash it and add the iron-on tape on the sides.

Thank you very much, you're the best and thank you for your patience.

thank you for the fast reply and sorry that I couldn't be online yesterday. Here is another picture. I suspect I'll have to make it a little bit bigger, especially to the front. And thank you for the information about the elastic strap! That really helps

Ok, this will look kind of strange, but I need some advice. Yesterday I bought real leather for the riding patch and the butt flap, so I printed out the pattern for the riding patches and did a test fitting on the suit before cutting it from the leather. Now I'm not sure on the size so I hope someone here can tell me if it looks right. I just used some needles to hold it in the right place so it looks a bit loose. Would really appreciate a reply

Here's the finished tank detail: The black detail on the tank itself. Rank to follow And I glued the T-bits on the bicep armor.
-
And a picture of me wearing the suit, the vest and the cummerbund. I've also added a piece of fabric at the collar so that my throat is covered. First layer of paint on the greeblies: and added the red stripe on the tank detail: Next thing is the white circle on the tank detail and the black stripe + rank bars on the tank itself

Finished the cummerbund a few days ago (though I haven't started with the pouches yet). More pics to follow Will have to put everything on and snap a few pictures. I have also continued pimping the jump suit.
